1 in 1700 for foreclosures is like taking 2 oz of water out of your swimming pool. Sure some people be going into foreclosure but there has never been a point where people are not going to fault on some type of loan. Everyone in this city for the most part has far too much equity for us to worry about a foreclosure crisis. And anyone who is going into pre-foreclosure please understand you still have the ability to sell your property for an obviously top dollar amount given the market. So unless you are being targeted by your bank you need to understand it is still your asset and you can still get out while you can if foreclosure is on the horizon.

Abel, that map did not show high foreclosure rates in North Las Vegas. That area in red appeared to be north Centennial Hills/Floyd Lamb Park & Skye Canyon was over to the northwest.

Exactly. They don’t even tell the total percentage of foreclosures. How high could it possibly be, 1 or 2% of total LV homeowners and would that even be an unusually high percentage? This article really doesn’t give any valuable information. They never do.

Pure manipulation of numbers . We have around 450 foreclosures . New Jersey has 1700 foreclosures . In 2008 Las Vegas had 1000’s of foreclosures . The foreclosures are the result of non payment of mortgages over the past 3 years . Now it is time to pay the piper . The government had programs for none payment but for some reason theses homeowners did not take advantage of this .
