Can the Cine lenses be used for normal manual photography?
In particular, astrophotography.

Yes, this Cine lens can be used to take still photographs, and YES, I have used this lens many times for astrophotography with great results.

I use a Canon 10-18mm lens for my UA-cam videos and live streaming. Looking for something a bit better and since I am usually at the 14mm length on my Canon lens I'm looking at this one! Very helpful video

At what frame rate did you film the 14mm footage ? It looks like 60fps.

All that footage was recorded and edited at 30 frames per second.
