Has the Ryu Curse finally been broken?

The last time Ryu won a major Street Fighter tournament, was Tokido in 2016 at South East Asia Majors in 2016 in Season 1 of SFV. Since then, Ryu has was on the decline for all of SFV's lifecycle. In Season 1 of SF6, Ending Walker qualified for Capcom Cup through the closed-bracket regional finals, but Ryu had not won an open bracket major with international competition since that 2016 date. Now, at Ultimate Fighting Arena (UFA) in Paris, France, the stage is set for the curse to be broken by a young, relatively unknown player, against competitors like Daigo, XiaoHai, Big Bird, NL, GO1, Amperor, Nephew, Noah the Prodigy, and more.
