- Subframes are connected, independant front suspension is next!
Modifying the frame and connecting the front and rear subframes took more time than I would have liked, but now it's done! The only other modifications to the frame will be directly related to the roll cage, engine mounts, and suspension mounts. I want to keep rolling with this classic Mustang so we can get that big block Ford set between the rails!

Dude great work, and amazing progress. Can't wait to see the strategery and planning for that front suspension job. 👍
Working on it at this moment 👍👍
I'm doing much of what you've done. with regards to the rear framerails and the mini tube you said next time you wouldn't do that- but never elaborated, what would you do with the mini tube- I'm thinking Detroit Speed type version- any advice?
Uh, i dont remember exaclty what part I was talking about, but I know that I wouldn't make my own tubs again. I would either buy the minitub kit, or just cut and move the originals over and patch in a strip. The framerails are a pain because of how they are shaped, so maybe the rail kit would be better? I guess we will have to wait for the '67 coupe protouring build to happen!
Looks good man
Thanks! I feel like I got some momentum going again.
@@squirrelsworkshop keep it going!
Do the front first. Then this summer do the rear so you can paint metal without worrying about the outside temp.
Good idea, it does suck to paint when it's cold👍
