Solo Wild Camp Under The Stars | Bivi Bag No Tarp

- I had a grand old time exploring the coast and bivi camping under the stars. As far as wild camps go this was one of my favourites, the coast is a rugged and beautiful place with an abundance of wild edibles.
Kind Regards
Hazy

I've just caught onto you Haze and as an old mountaineer/wild camper/bivvy boy I've thoroughly enjoyed the show so far.Genuine fun and memories. Thanks for that.
This episode is the 2nd I've noted where your little airbed popped.
I was there, seriously, when 9mm closed cell foam appeared...Karrimat by name.
We ALL thought we'd gone to a better place! Warmth,comfort...all in one go.Suddenly winter climbing/camping was a lot easier.
Nowadays it's got to be an "airbed"...perm any 6 from 20
Styles/colours/sizes/weights etc etc.(And a few repair kits)
Get a good, thick closed cell mat...weighs NOWT, costs little ,strap it outside your pack. You can sit your airbed on top.
Or, of course, you can buy the semi-insulated airbed, only a Fortune and a half! If it leaks, you've still got a semblance of insulation under your bum.
I've got an airbed(£4,95...air ambulance charity...brand new)... OEX ...So I'm not anti...just amazed at how things have "moved along" and YET...you can still end up sleeping on "the cold cold ground".
Cheers mate.
Keep up the good work mate,I look forward to catching up over the weeks ahead.
funfact...
Swedish scientists complained that they had to use 2 karrimats when it got down to -65C...

+Wye Explorer Thanks Mark, I've taken the best bits of both the original and the new aliminium crusader cook kits to make the perfect system (in my opinion). I'm always myself mate, just sometimes a little drunk or excited lol. Take it easy my man.
Haze Outdoors Now that's something....I've done the same thing with the Crusader. Mine is a mix also. Good minds working alike. Hey sometimes I wish I could turn the clock back and get completely of my face but I can't but you go ahead maaan and have a good one and a great week. All the best. Mark.

Big up to you and your better half
You where nearly there lad, Sir Roger 'Bannister' was where you were heading, 1st sub 4 minute mile at Iffley Rd Running track, 6 May 1954, Oxford just down the Rd from my yard. Brilliant video 'any road up'

Decent fruity damp 🍺 that enjoyed by the fire -
Ps - You where like Peter Andre in the mysteries girl vid under that waterfall champ ha ha ha
Haze back in the day. Still a ledge.
Really liked the editing at the beginning with going from Google Earth to being at the location 👍
+Alistair Webb cheers my man.
Oh, holy shit; this sort of thing is heaven. Glad you got the chance to do this! Here where I live it's all desert, and it's as beautiful as what you have, just in a different way. You wouldn't BELIEVE what the stars look like, or how the coyotes sound! But we don't have the sea here, not for millions of years.
Also, that sounds like the world's fruitiest IPA. Good, though; I'd drink that.
Sunrise you maniac top draw as usual mate
+Robert Davies I'm a grade A twerp
Lol nut job that's my kinda night out without the dip at the end

Me and a couple of my mates drove up to this place on Friday and stayed in the woods for the weekend,my mate recognised the place from your video ,we were on the beach doing some foraging, and we found Duncan.

Great vid :) nice looking spot. Found your channel thanks to Zed outdoors. Liked your IPA reviews too :)
Keep up the good work mate, ATB Neil
Cheers Neil
Loved this video and you've got a new subscriber. I'm exactly like you - if there's a body of water you have to jump in it to make memories, regardless of how cold it is. Actually I think there's something strangely addictive in doing things you know other people might consider a bit crazy!
+RandomChris I agree! The cold will fade but the memories will last a life time (providing you don't get alzheimer's). Stay safe my man.
Cheers buddy, you too. 👍
Good stuff! Nice bushcraft shower in the end there :)
Thanks for sharing - Martin
+NorwegianWoods Thanks Martin
That was a mighty staff. None shall pass lol. Atb.

Happy Heart Day to you all your family and friends dem!!!! I went camping trip for a day and I was fun. I drank Red Stripe Sorrel beer.
Happy heart day to you too.
I know, it is a video from 2016, but i enjoyed every moment. Nice tour at the coast. Okay, we have the Alpes in the south but i truely love the coast. But unfortunatly it is almost 1000 kilometers away from my home. Greetings from Germany, Azze
Hello my German friend!
loved it looked great fun get one of them therma rest fold up mattress
Brilliant stuff mate. I thought that I was spoilt for beautiful coastal locations where I live on the north Cornish coast but some of your wild camps give it a real good run for the money. Haha ' Duncan' .... I couldn't help thinking about Tom Hanks and 'Wilson' 😀. Keep it up mate and as you say ' it's all about creating the memories.
+Russ Woodard thanks Russ! Wilson has nothing on Dunc, Dunc was rock and roll! Better to burn out than fade away.
Thanks for the comment mate.
Cool camp! Watching this inspired me to find this place and went there this weekend with my lovely outdoorsey girl - top value! Saw a porpoise in the bay too. Thanks for the heads up on this place. :P
