Yep you’re right I did not know they had this feature. Edit as you go instead of doing it in a DAW. Drawback is the payment. This should be a tool given in rekordbox . Bummer.

Went all the way through editing down one of my tunes, went to save it ... computer said no!! only available with the paid packages is bloody naff and left me absolutely gutted
Yeah i agree this should be free, that’s why i advise doing your edits, grabbing the free trial then exporting them all in one go! 10 mins trance sounds kinda short though 😄
Luckily, I have Ableton Live so can do this in that and not pay for subscription or do the 30 day trial. But will defo try all of this in there. Still a great informational video 🤘 thanks!
This is goooood, but honestly if you don't wanna pay or do this you could always use a DAW almost all of them with their free version are more than capable to do that and wouldn't be too hard to learn the basics. Probably will take you 15min to learn to do this in another program, only downside is you need another program and you have to do it outside rekordbox but yeah. Rekordbox charging 18 to 36 bucks to only do copy and paste stuff it's pretty ridicolous. Good video anyways
Wow i am a super low vision dj this is massive. So much anxiety saved if i can figure this out. Panicking to find that one spot in a track without being able to see wave forms - or skipping that dumb 32 bits of bleh to get to the actual intro - or breaking up tracks enough to not layer vocals due to no outro - so much music I’ve paid sooo much over the years I’ve felt too overwhelmed with to even deal with working with at gigs. I am avoiding ableton out of sheer burnout & effort needed to get it functional on current laptop- this is massively helpful. Thank you.
Great video, very useful indeed! Lot's of new tacks are "club ready" with intro's added. But some of my personal favorites from the 80's/90's tunes are hard to mix due to vocals or add lips. So thank you. Oh the tech house part cracked me up!
This is great Chris, With the update with Stems would we be able to put a vocal or drum track as part of the edit? Or does it only show the one track and not seperations? Thanks S.
The idea that anyone is playing live sets without local track storage is mind blowing. Do these people also mount poison spikes on their steering wheel in the car?

Could you record the stem, save it as it's own track, analyze, then edit the stem similar to how you have shown in your video?
