my dad won't give me a bookshelf in my room and when I see your bookshelf I mentally fangirl to death because of how full they are. the one shelf I have in my room is already full along with the storage under it....
Jesse, you will not be disappointed with A Court of Mist and Fury! The book is so good and the third and final book A Court of Wings and Ruin is coming out Tuesday. You will love it!
Paul Sumayao, A Court of Mist and Fury is the second book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses trilogy. The series is about a 19 year old girl, Feyre, who kills a wolf in the woods that actually ends up being a Fae. One of the dead Fae's friends comes to Feyre's home and says she owes her life in servitude for killing it. She goes back with the friend to a mansion and lives there. It is basically a Fae retelling of Beauty and the Beast.
Isaiah Norman Yes. I know. I'm so excited. A Court of Wings and Ruin is the last of Rhys and Feyre's story. The other three are about other characters that are in the series. Sarah J Maas hasn't announced who though.
You finally have King's Cage! Yayyy! The ending will leave you in tears and the intensity of the story is just 👌 I also loved how the story is expanding. Hope you enjoy reading it!
I'm so excited for the Geekerella book talk! I read it and it was absolute bliss. I am a huge Cinderella fan and a total geek myself so it was a perfect fit. I wish I could go to Bookcon and Vidcon but sadly college comes first 😔
Sheridan Tyre I'm really excited to read the book! It just amaze me the most that it's a geek book😍 hope reading it soon! Also really excited for the book talk!!!
So I was just hit with really, really hearbtreaking news. So this video came in good timing, so thank you, Jesse. *takes in a deep breath and wipes away tears* Moving on. I'm happy you finally got a Court of Mist and Fury. I've been counting down the days you'd finally pick up. I really hope you love it
I'm having the same reading problem right now! I'm reading books super slowly even though I want to finish them. I think it may be because of all the work I have to do for school so I feel like just relaxing when I'm finally done.
This month I picked up the book Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon and OMG it is so good. I love the characters, the plot and basically everything about this book I'm only at page 125 because I picked it up yesterday. But I'm hoping to finish it by the time the book to movie adaptation comes out. I just love it so much and would recommend it to anyone who likes romance comedy kind of books.
A Court of Mist and Fury is one of the best sequels I have ever read in my life. THAT IS HOW YOU WRITE A SEQUEL!!! The third book comes out soon and I'm gonna cry!!!
You are going to love ACOMAF! I am currently in the process of re-reading it in preparation for it's sequel ACOWAR, and it is definitely well worth the read! The characters grab your attention right from the get go, and it is one of those books that you pick up and do not want to put down.
Oh, you MUST read the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants if you like Ann Brashares and contemporaries! They are probably my favorite YA contemporary novels to this day. Ella Enchanted is another of my favorites and the movie is practically a different story, which is a real shame. I love seeing you include books that aren't new releases! Those books need love too!
I just finished my reread of ACOMAF, and it reminded me how much it takes the series and Maas's writing to a new level! I'm so excited for ACOWAR! Hope you like it!! :)
I'm like 9 chapters away from finishing ACOMAF and I like it, it doesn't have me super hyped and I don't think I'm gonna have a book hangover afterwards, but it's been long since the last time I felt like dropping what I'm doing to read a book and this one makes me feels that way. I think you'll like it.
When u were taking abt kings cage I related sooooo much. I'm not really in a reading slump I'm just going slow... and it's keeping me from reading kings cage 😂😂
I hear you on the book slump. 😒 Same exact thing here. I have been so excited to read 1984 for the first time and it is taking FOR. EV. ER. I need to finish it up this weekend and read Geekarella since I am sure it'll be a slump buster 😂
Geekerella sounds like a good book. A lot of these books got added to my to read list. The Kings Cage was a good book. A Court of Mist & Fury was really good.
Wow, The Takedown sounds really good! Love the Instagram cutout! King's Cage is on my TBR also. I think spring bring pollen & reading slumps. Good vid!
you should totally check out Saving Francesca! I also thought that Jeliicoe Road was quite confusing but when i read Saving Francesca i totally fell in love with Melina Marchetta books!
I read jellicoe road about a month ago and it is now one of my favorite books of all time!!! I was soooo confused at first, but the book is amazing!!!!!
You will not be disappointed with Ella Enchanted! Also I'm totally with you on the hype. I was let down with the first one so now I'm hesitant on picking up A Court of Mist and Fury :D
I'm currently reading Outrun the Moon by Stacy Lee. It's historical fiction and it's absolutely wonderful! It's also got an awesome, kickass heroine! I definitely plan on checking out her other works!
Geekerella sounds like it'll be a really cute read! I can't wait to hear what you think of ACOMAF! I hope you enjoy it! :D I also can't wait to see you again at BookCon!
Great haul Jesse. I picked up the six books of the Gallagher Girl Series by Ally Carter. I am now reading book 2, Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy, I am not sure if you have read them but they are good so far. Have a great weekend.
I know the feels of the reading slump feel. I had one for two weeks (during tome topple and a little bit before it). Then I picked up the incredibly controversial book of: Uprooted and really liked it. Now I am reading one of the tomes I had planned for Tome topple and I will pick up the other two books in the trilogy tomorrow. I am curious about the A court of thorns and roses series, but very apprehensive because YA is typically something that lets me down. I have yet to find a book in that cathegory I'd rate above 3.5 stars.
I've been in the worst reading slump since I read ACOTAR and ACOMAF back to back in January. Really hoping ACOWAR can bring me some peace so I can get to some of the million unread books I have on my shelf at the moment.
I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE YOU AT THE BOOKSPLOSION PANEL AGAIN! I loved your panel last year. I remember I about teared up when I asked a question because I was so shocked I was there, and you Kat, Christine, and Sasha were the first booktubers I watched, you guys inspired me. I was a wee bit emotional, I really look up to you guys. Meeting you was a blast though! The Takedown sounds like such a fun book! I just got it from the library
I'm finally reading ACOMAF right now. I bought it earlier this year and finally started reading it, and I hope you aren't let down either. I'm loving it, though.
i'm in the exact same kind of "slump" D: Currently reading Crooked Kingdom (and loving it of course) but I still have 150 pages and have been reading it for almost 2 weeks..... booooo.....
I'm having the same kind of reading slump. I've been reading six of crows which is really really good but it's taking me forever to finish it. I don't know what to do
Sigh. Sometimes I wish I was born in America. I live in Holland, so I'm dutch. When I order a dutch paperback, it's $20 instead of $8-10. Unfair. But ofcourse I can read english, but it just takes me so long to finish the book.

my dad won't give me a bookshelf in my room and when I see your bookshelf I mentally fangirl to death because of how full they are. the one shelf I have in my room is already full along with the storage under it....

Jeldou van der Heide books are becoming cheaper here. most dutch paperbacks are around 15 now and quite a lot of books are also 10 euro
Emma L. Haven't noticed. Were I live, books are still 20 euro.
Jeldou van der Heide new releases from example blossom books are a lot of times over 15 euros but they don"t reach 20 euros (most of them are like 18 but those are the hardcovers without dust jackets) and a lot of older books (from at least 1,5 year ago) are between 10 and 15. and thrift stores do have some cool dutch ya or sometimes kruidvat has cool books for very cheap. oh and sometimes film editions are cheaper
Emma L. Paperbacks are still 20 euro around here... I don't know where you live but... I've bought books from Kruidvat and Action, they were pretty cool yeah.
