But that is normal
Nothing wrong with that, shrimp shells, tails and heads are perfectly digestible, tasty and suprisingly nutritious. Many swear on them in Tempura for example.
The only real problem is that they can be really hard to chew depending on how the shrimp is prepared, but as long as they're crunchy enough for you to actually bite through them, it's all fine.
