- The Long Dark Technical Backpack Walkthrough Part 2 for Stalker+ done in a single in game day. This shows you the uncut version from save creation to Technical Backpack. This is a continuation from the previous video showing you how to leave Ash Canyon Region in The Long Dark by passing through Timberwolf Mountain Region to Pleasant Valley Region completely uncut. We arrive at the main farmhouse from the goldmine in ~2 in game days totaling a little bit over 3 days in game. This is all done in about ~1.5 hours irl.

I got caught in a blizzard when I got to pleasant valley, got turned around and lost. Had to spend the day crouched behind a rock to survive and burned through the last of my coal from the trip. All that work was almost lost. Great video.

yupp, got out of there, got caught in the longuest blizzard i've seen and left the game before i die out of coldness, i don't want to die this time so i'm making a plan to survive

Awesome vid bro ..I always start at TWM and do the summit for the gear. This time for the backpack up the west side ..north entry from TWM to AC. Climb to the gold mine ( have enough for a snow shelter) because once you leave Stone Self Cave you have 3 climbs and no place to hide from a blizzard . I then go around the parameter and head back to TWM because though well equipped I have very little skills to attack .. I come back later to map and look in every corner when I am er lol invincible .. Torches lots of torches
I spawned in ash canyon and its awful i want to get out and gather supplies

I remember my first time getting in there and...well - I did it from the wrong side xD it worked but I've used 2 stims, some coffee and it wasn't pleasant. So your videos can save someone from that pain

18th tries, it's taken me to get past the moose... climb 3x ropes, descend another rope and make it to the mine.
So tricky, blizzards abd hypothermia killed me dozen times.
Now, I've got tbe technical backpack I want to leave this forsaken area aswell as timberwolf mountain and just get back to the game elsewhere until I'm stocked with stuff..
Totaly worth it 😂

Edit:- update just finished it with this video 😂 honestly I was shitting myself 3x over you know earlier in the video you said mind the Wolves.. well 2x chased me towards a fkn bear near the hut on the river 😂
I think they all scared off when I got inside amd shit the door but my heart was pounding 😂
I made it to pleasant valley to find another bear on the way to the farm house aswell so i decided to stop at the barn and rest.
I have no weapons yet 3xcept for 3x stones and 3x torches. 2x flares.
It's been awesome, thanks very much but no offence I hope I dont need this anytime soon 😂

Man awesome video... yet.. you could add to this run so VERY easily by adding in the Ash canyon and Timberwolf mountain preppers caches...
Seriously with a little luck.. and MAYBE a half day extra added.. you could be fully clothed in some good gear, and have extra ammo..
Of course.. this all depends on familiarity with the maps and your chosen difficulty..
Starting from the same place in your previous video, I also hit anglers and miners cabin.. get some much needed clothing/gear.. also depends on the bear.. then it's the.same.route you take up until leaving Ash.. from the transition cave, I hightail it to climbers cave, then immediately go to the preppers cache.. sleeping if needed in the bunker... from there I just follow the slope downwards, until the point of no return drop.. and then head left through the crawl cave.. which spits you out at the top of the slop from the transition cave..
All in all.. I can do all this day 1 and if the stars actually align (from time to time, they do) I will actually shoot through the cave and go until I get too the Timberwolf cache.. which is when I do my big sleep, repairs etc..
Timberwolf mountain can be an unforgiving area at times lol..
Then again.. so can Mysterylake lol

Does the backpack have to be in the Accessories
No slot needed. It just works. It also changes the sound effect for opening your backpack which is neat.

Are the reishi tea better to drink than the herbal tea? Or maybe it’s just because you didn’t have herbal tea here? Just wondering
He drank warm tea to get buff warm up so he could longer be outside without getting hypothermia
because he didn't had any good clothes. shortly said it doesnt matter any warm tea can give you that buff

Nahhhh is this really worth a video? As someone who is a religious the long dark player on stalker and ash canion is not a difficult region. There are caves and shelter everywhere, great bases on the way to the mine, great fishing spots. I love spawning in ash canion. Sundered Pass. That is a difficult zone. Bleak inlet. But not ash canion😂
