Italy is so much Dark Souls in real life. A lot of beautiful places and some times it's so beautiful it doesn't seem it's real. In my opinion Italy is the most beautiful country of the world. Thank you for your videos.
I feel the same way. These walks are almost life changing for me. I can't afford to travel and it is all I want to do. These videos make it some what possible for me to enjoy traveling. :D
I remember we were here 2019 when gusty winds of 200 miles per hour our group waited it out in that church and the wind has howling sound echoing inside the church. We were not able to go up the beautiful cobblestone street to the top. It was so dangerous we can be blown away. Now you just showed me what is up there at the top. Beautiful! Thks
every building we see at one time had Hopes and Dreams attached to them! a new family, new business, a new beginning for someone. i can not stop seeing glimpses of what might have been.
Hi, this is really a wonderful video! The paving of the streets, incredible! The views through the clouds of the countryside and towns below are awesome. I think the whole video in the mist is magic! The dogs that were sleeping in the street got up and followed you around for a while is cute too. Thanks for this great video.
Very nice place and beautiful scenery. Your Erice, Sicily walking tour is so impressive. Full view and Big liked. Have a happy week my dear friend...👍👍
Thankyou for allowing me to see the world for free. I especially enjoyed been here, in Erice. So beautiful and quaint. Loved the pampered pet cats also. Kind regards, Carole from New Zealand.
Sono stato a Trapani 25 anni fa, visitando anche Segesta ed Erice oltre alle saline. Bellissima terra, buon cibo e bella gente! Spero un giorno di tornarci!
Talk about your "June Gloom"! That's what San Diegans deal with, the only month that it's overcast there. I love stopping your videos and really checking things out. Another wonderful job of course. Loved the "...and there it is!" view moment...lol.
@@ProWalks I haven’t actually watched all of your videos so I’ll have to look through some more before I can think of something else to recommend. But if I think of something I’ll definitely get back to you. Thanks again…
Nice City. The fog brought some special effect to this tour despite not allowing the view of the valley down bellow. It is an interesting walk. Anyway, 60 churches is a bit too much eh eh eh.Thanks for sharing.
The 60 Churches proof the town of Erice's "true repentance " now all are Christians, turning from worshipping idols to worshipping the true God, Jesus Christ.

I had a day trip covering Erice and Trapani some years ago when staying in Palermo before moving east. Too brief I must admit. Looking forward to viewing these two walks of yours. I am still at the initial stage of viewing your Venice Grand canal Tour 2020. The Pandemic gives the Canal the chance to show extra beauty in a much more peaceful environment. What an irony. Anyway thanks again for your effort (great labour at times, to me at least😅) and great work. Grazie tante. Ciao!
Great and useful video! It's just a pity the video didn't walk inside Venus Castle! That is the real spectacle of this place, with an insane view on Egadi islands and the west coast of Sicily!
Thanks for this Amazing video... I would like to thank you for the efforts you have made in posting this video. I am hoping the same best work from you in the future as well. Thanks...
I used to live close to Catania back in 1977-1979, right on the cliff-top communities by the beaches of Catania. As a kid I loved to explore all over the place. The farmers were awesome! Sometimes they would give us kids some bloody oranges and watermelon when they saw us wandering around the countryside. Must have been unique to them to come across American kids wandering around the countryside.
Anyone ever watch 'Montalbano' which is filmed in Sicily? It's about the small police force and the main characters and particular idosincracies. It's hilarious at times and the storylines are captivating. Language is italian but we use the english subtitles.
Hi, I love your walking tours! I wanted to ask if you plan on doing a walking tour of Ragusa, Sicily. My great grandpa was from there and I would love to see it. Again I love you videos, thank you
No va beh... la nebbia in sicilia al 22 giugno è un qualcosa di incomprensibile per uno come me che vive al nord, non pensavo nemmeno che sapessero cosa fosse da quelle parti manco a novembre.

..was dreaming about Prowalk Tours, and you were in Venice (I watch the Venice one a lot).. in my dream, someone pushes passed you in a crowded alleyway, and you accidentally bump into an Italian woman who is carrying a baby. The baby starts to cry, and the Italian woman is none to happy. She begins yelling "What's a wrong with a you.. You wake a my baby! You make a my baby cry!" You try to explain what happened there, but she's having none of it.. and the situation escalates further the more you explain. Finally, you give up and take off walking to escape the harassment.. and the screaming baby. You get away, but, throughout the dream, you keep crossing paths with this woman and her wailing infant.. and, each time, she berates you all over again. At one point, she threw her shoes at you from a gondola ....
Due to large number of Chinese population and there rice consumption they had to name the city Erice. to scare off the Italians cause of their meat eating habits.

certamente!
I'm always amazed at how clean these towns are. No trash on the streets, true pride of place.
Yeah, this was just a quite, clean, hilltop town. I think I forgot to mention the population in my captions but there are just a few hundred people.

Why is there so much fog in this town though?
Well...like others have said..they are clouds really, but I guess it is just due to its location with water on both sides.
