Patients sue Ascension over data breach from cyberattack

Ascension Hospital system, which operates in 19 states including Central Texas, was hit by a ransomware cyberattack, causing the hospital to operate manually with a paper trail and leading to delays in patient care, while a class action lawsuit has been filed by a patient claiming personal information was leaked.
