    That was AWESOME Brother Dennis 😜!!!! So cool to see you and Mitch working together on this 😉. The chassis, steering rack, motor mount, and suspension blocks are so frigging Beefcake 👀. Not everyone fully appreciates the 7075 T6 advantage (though many do). Everything is so much better protected 😱!!!! The hinge pins and arms, all the electronics/Lipos, the braces/center driveline 💪💪. The stock parts are strong, but they wear and tweak over time where these parts simply don't. More than butter smooth, the steering rack protects the bearings and shoulder bolts from getting torqued. Huge props for doing these clear how-to vids Brother 👊. Should help a ton of guys out. 🍻👍👍😎💪👊👊

      Thanks Rich,
      Was awesome working with Mitch on this project to get my Outcast 8s M2Cified real quick and get it out there to help the community. Props to Mitch for being so quick with these upgrades,.... Sure many of them were in development for the Kraton.... But Three new ones even since the Outcast 8s has launched (Chassis, Steering rack, Pillow Balls Retainer)..... Mitch and M2C just don't slow down with "engineering" solutions for the Bashers out there. Let's be honest, some companies just throw metal as an opportunity or just remake somthing in metal that maybe should stay plastic. M2C Racing makes upgrades that are needful and that make sence through testing!
      This platform is a beast, so fun to drive, so props to Arrma too for such an amazing truck, #ArrmaTough out the box, and M2C to just add that much more toughness and tweeks.
      Thanks for stopping by, I know it was a long one to watch so thanks for your time brother! Like you said.... It's for the community... Hope they enjoy.
      I LOVE bashing hard and SENDING 🚀🚀 IT, but I do really love helping others out also.

      Thanks buddy,
      Yeah I never just upgrade before I run a new kit but I did that here and I have broken so little parts since running it. I send this beast and I have broken no arms, just broke one steering turnbuckle and bent all 4 shock Rods.... But now M2C ones and she good! The M2C Upgrades really helps EVERYTHING Together!! 👍💪🚀🚀Good luck with the rebuild. If you had to do it in order I suggest chassis and motor mount (plus Pillow Ball Retainers) .... Have to be purchased together(chassis&motor mount), then Hinge pin kits, shock pistons and rods(lighter oil), then steering rack and other bits.
      Personally don't see the need for Bulkheads, Hubs, shock towers and of course A Arms being done in metal... I like to keep some things plastic.
      Hope you enjoy the channel, plenty of videos bashing this beast.... Can't wait to get er out next time!
      Thanks for your time brother

      Yeah the M2C Tank Status Outcast 8s is a masterpiece by Arrma and M2C. Jumped to a 39 tooth spool gear yesterday and she flips even easier!... Bit more wild! Soon comes the 800kv but the spool is working well on stock electrics!

      I noticed once I started going past 60ft airs stock chassis started tweeking, especially when you land wrong at even lesser distance. Once I started going over 100ft it bent every time (Kraton 6s) even if I landed right even with some M2C Upgrades.
      Now I just let it fly with the M2C Goliath on my Kraton/Outcast/Talion rigs and on the O8S.... I never even have to hesitate about if the truck will take it or not😏👍

    Have you had any steering problems with that steering crank you installed?.....because 6x8x5mm bearings DO NOT EXIST to replace the sucky stock metal bushings....my Outcast 8s is brand new...haven't ran it yet

    • @3SonsRC
      @3SonsRC  3 роки тому +1

      On issue is I didn't use RED loctite first time I ran it and I snapped a stock bolt that goes into the steering ball link.... because it's started loosening under pressure. What's why in the video I say to use Red. But it's been perfect and butter smooth, and I try to send this thing, nothing has broken from the kit just that Arrma bolt but none since the Red.
      Eric and Rich have also had ZERO issues.
      Run your truck bro, it's a beast. If I were to get any upgtade, get the Chassis first, then the Hinge Pin Kits, then the steering rack and shock rod ends/pistons. That's my reccomended order, but somtimes your needs might dictate shocks earlier because your having issues. Have fun brother. App your time and support!

  • @paulrakis
    @paulrakis 2 роки тому +1

    Hi 3 sons. How u guys doing? Do you recommend to use all the 6 screws for the chassis center plate? Right now I'm just using 4 screws to allow flex like you said. For very high sends maybe like 50 feet would you recommend to use all 6 of the screws.

    • @3SonsRC
      @3SonsRC  2 роки тому +2

      I have used all the screws since day one. Mitch just said it was an option to not use all if you want. I know I'm kinda stupid going over 135ft distance with this rig and Rich and Eric going bigger.... So I need all the support. I see no real reason to not use all the screws no matter how much you send IMHO.

      @3SonsRC  3 роки тому +1

      I got you bro, two options,
      Power Hd, some say its a bit tricky to install, but that would be my first choice because it trusted brand and waterproof, but I went with a more powerful one that my buddy Rich reccomended, but it's not waterproof but I plan on waterproofing it IF/WHEN I upgrade... Already have it sitting here, stock seems pretty good on BEC 8.4, so not felt the strong need yet.
      Power HD
      www.amazon.com/dp/B085W7Z8HB/ref=cm_sw_r_u_apa_fabc_Zf22FbPB3844D
      SPT one I got
      banggood.app.link/QCRi3wF8hcb
      .... Specs are crazy on the 2nd one but you have to waterproof it or not run it in water, I'm sure it can take a splash here or there. 2nd one you also have to purchase the larger servo mount for the Arrma 8s...Google the part.
      Good luck buddy, if you haven't turned the Bec to 8.4 yet, try that, you might be surprised

    • @3SonsRC
      @3SonsRC  4 роки тому +1

      Yes, M2C one just gives you more strength, and options for motor mounts for different engines. So if you want to just start with the chassis your G2G!
