Hey @TheDryerNewt, Try Legacy for ADS Type with mouse filtering on 1-2 if it feels too responsive for you, You'll know what I mean when you try it out. I've been playing with it and slaying controller players this year with it. I prefer everything with 1:1 for my scopes and hipfire as I play Valorant so it may not suite everyone.
I just feel having a 1:1 keeps you more consistent with aim rather than having a whole different ADS sense to remember and be thrown off when you use another scope.
I play at 4200 DPI with an in game mouse sense of 1.0 and 1 mouse filtering (In game setting)
the mouse input felt so bad, I gave up. Refunded the game. I Used to play MW2 at 800Dpi and 11.0 in game sensitivity. Could not track targets at all in MW3.
Same bro this game is terrible for mouse. My aim pulls off players and there’s missing hit reg. Movement issue useless too, i prefer mw2 over this , sadly

I have found the solution to the mouse acceleration that gave a lot of inconsistency when aiming! It turns out that you have to change a command in a game file in the Documents folder in Windows, a command that DOES NOT EXIST in Moderen Warfare 2. You have to go to Documents, Call of Duty, players, and open the file "options.4.cod23 .cst" using Notepad. Already inside the file, look for the line MouseUsesRawInput:0.0 = "true" (it is almost at the end), and change what is in quotes to "false". Once that is done, save the file and enter the game. Why you have to do this to completely deactivate acceleration is something that only Activision knows (even though it is set to 0 in the game options, acceleration is still activated in the command XD), but my games in MW3 improved a lot and I am approaching the level I had in MW2.
But this doesn't really make sense cause you should be using raw input which negates any acceleration, averaging/normalization or smoothing effect... Changing it to false does the exact opposite...
@@extremeheat9283it makes sense in this case because this game was so rushed there’s multiple instances of spaghetti code and this is another one. Do more research because this is well documented to be a bandaid fix until Activision fixes the forced mouse acceleration bug.
0 monitor coefficient is the secret sauce. Been on it since MWII came out.

1400 dpi 4,000 pulling rate 1.78 sense and 1.33 coefficient ran this in mw2 still works just fine for me on mw3

I tried Warzone 3 today after giving up on MW 2 2022 and WZ 2. My god it is impossible to play on keyboard and mouse, the aiming is hands down the WORST in any FPS game I have ever played, even milsim games like ARMA feels 100x better than this shit. It feels like they've purposely handicapped keyboard and mouse users because of the outcry back in 2019/2022 when cross play came to be. You have your reticle/crosshair/iron sight bouncing all over the place, you aim straight and your reticle is to the top right of the target, (Thats not how scopes work in real life) and then add all the visual noise on top making it near on impossible to track a target. Controllers using aim assist don't have to worry about any of that. If this is the future of COD then COD is dead on PC if you're a KB&M user.
changer ads sensitivity type to legacy not relative or when you crouch youll have a diff sensativity

3:00, Just wanted to let you know Bone Conduction Headset does not work like the Sit-Rep Pro or Awareness perks of prior titles. All it does is eliminate ambient sound so that it’s easier to hear gunshots and footsteps. It is not a counter to Covert Sneakers or Dead Silence.

I use the viper v2 pro on 1200 dpi and I slay in all games I play but this one and its because the barrel is where your aim is not the center of the screen controller player have such and upper hand in this game it’s unreal
Even with the cracked up sbmm the mouse aim is abit better then mw2 but my shots still feel like it takes 1to2 more bullets because of the crosshair deviation when u whip around too much.. I think it’s intentional to screw over mouse users…

I play dpi 6000. And in game sens at 3.25 and feel it works for me
Ads too? Cuz I play on 3300 dpi, 10 sens and ads on 0.68.
newt, in a previous video for MW2 you mentioned you don't have autotact sprint. I think you changed your mind on that. Sounds like you recommend the setting now. What do you have your prone behavior set to? HOLD, GO TO, or TOGGLE? Looks like HOLD.
My prone key is on toggle I press it ones to go prone

Why not just use the billeted brake? Helps with vertical recoil which imo makes this thing have virtually no recoil

bro i’ve been running a 1.33 coefficient on my 21:9 monitor since mw2019 and just yesterday learned i should’ve had it set to 2.33 this whole time

Would you use zombies as a sort of ‘aim trainer’ while levelling weapons ?
I used to do that for a warmup on COD Vanguard and it worked great but for whatever reason when I do it on MW3 it doesn’t seem to transfer over to multiplayer. I’ll be beaming and snapping like crazy on some zombies then go to mp and my aim is all over the place.

You want to use legacy for that if you want a more 1:1 feel

Not sure if you did a video on this but what issues are there with MnK with MW3. The input feels sluggish. I also am having a problem with trying to go prone after a slide. My operator just won't go prone immediately following a slide.

I got the same, like there is a daily to prone. Choked many gunfights because of it because me operator would crouch and not prone lol
If you have auto tac sprint on it sometimes wont go prone after slide
Definitely tough to come out of a slide cancel into prone. There is almost always a delay. Best chance, at least for me on MnK, is to slide and then drop at the end without hitting jump.@@jordantallqvist9946
Do you think it’s better to use an ads multiplier of 1 or something less? I see a lot of top players using 1, but it’s always seemed weird to me to use the same sens. for hipfire and ads.
Using 1 ADS is amazing for muscle memory.
Yeah using 1-1 sense is really good to get used to. Only time i would have a modifier is on any optics over 4x

My hands rest on the mouse pad and general rule is arm for larg movements (off screen swipes) and wrist for small adjustments.

Am I tripping or is there not a way to put on reddots (classic minimap) in the private match? It doesn’t seem to be on automatically and when I go to settings the only options are off and uav only like it was in MW2.

he means sliding your hand straight down on your mouse pad. for example, if your mouse is at the top of your mousepad, "pull down" in a straight line to the bottom of your mousepad

Had to turn everything on advanced mouse swtting to 0 or none except for filtering. I set it to two and set my mouse refresh rate to 125hz. So much better, except for the fucking packet bursts.

I come from competitive gaming on mouse n key, most mechanically intense and demanding game on the planet is overwatch 2, im myself a hitscan main(basically it means you have normal firing guns on your hero) have been top 500 in this game and one thing I have to say is, you just have to lower your sensitivity by like 0.2 or something like that, you overflick so slightly every time you flick, in this game you could get away with it but in high level mouse and key games, you die if you miss by a millimeter, it’s all about the muscle memory man, try to go into real aim trainers do an AI scenario and work on really flicking without thinking about it, you should almost be able to have closed eyes and flick to the sound of your opponent. That combined with training your eyes alone and of course normal aim training, you will be surprised how close to aimbot your aim is gonna be
Idk bro but I think quake is the hardest movement fps in the planet so much that people uninstall on their first game.
i run 6 sens and a 1 ads sens, sometimes i feel as i do over flick so should i go down 0.2 on both sensitivity or a specific one.
sensitivity is a tool so changing ads could benefit certain people but i wouldnt lower it lower than .8. consistency is big in pc aiming. i would recommend you to make it a habit to ALWAYS underflick and adjust with wrist aim. this is skill no one speaks about but is very known by famous aimers and coaches. hopes it helps@@WitnessTheKosmos

I have pretty much already gave up on BR and Resurgence due to the O.P. aim assist on controller. You litterally have to be Cracked out of your skin or hacking to have an chance in a close fight. I think at best i have a 20% chance against a controller player. Anyone that says KBM is a huge advantage over controller go and watch JKucci on youtube and come back and explain how?? Im a bot in game and its 100% down to aim. You need to be locked on with the mouse as your not getting any assist so miss a shit load of shots, by that time your dead as aim assist has locked on and youve been beamed.

U would always want to have a dpi higher than sens bc dpi doesn’t skip pixels
@@elite4149 again its preference. Someone who has used 400 dpi their whole life will play better at 400 than they would at 1600. Also higher dpi accentuates minimal mouse movements that you might not realize youre doing and making you miss. Its preference.
Hey newt I have my cpi at 1600 and I put my in game sensitivity as yours, but it's too slow for me. I don't like to move my whole arm when turning. I like to use my wrist movement mostly. Any suggestions?
If youre experiencing what i did that your ingame aim is much slower than your actual physical movement try mouse acceleration i have it around 0.12 but try it out and see what works best for you. really take time to test it tho bc even a 0.1 difference in that setting makes a lot of difference

I just switched to relative 1.78 coff 1600dpi 2.50 in game. Feels pretty good to me.

I'm at 1600 dpi, 2.17 sens. That's 40 cm. Extremely slow, so slow in fact that a 360 is almost impossible for me. But it still feels quick haha. My arm is always in pain though..
Keyboard and mouse is dead for pc, hail the chronus and reasnow for controllers and assisted mouse aiming on consoles. So sad but real...

Honestly the best mouse aiming guide in my opinion is not to play this game at all as a mouse player.
I always liked COD as a game, but facts are what the facts are. 99% of the pro players in this game play on controller and there’s a good reason for that. aim assist is just too strong and too good to pass on.
If this game was more balanced between inputs like Fortnite and Apex, i’d actually consider getting it. But we all know Activision will never aim assist to that point.
Aim assist is the same as hacking

You mentioned it briefly but the weapon sway is actually quite a bit more annoying/impactful than it sounds, at least at mid-long range. Recoil control is easy in itself but I can literally feel the weapon sway pulling me just slightly off target when I am aiming at a small target in the distance. It seems to me that far more weapon sway exists in this game compared to MW2019 and is unrelated to recoil control itself per se

This fixed the issue for me when I switched underbarrels for stocks on all guns, Idle sway is gone to me now. Idle sway is terrible for us you need to use stocks to keep it in place or your aim will be fucked, I was in the mid to low before stocks now I`m never below 3rd place. I do use grips and underbarrel Bruen vertical grip. instead on smg`s but you really need stocks for the big guns, Sway is terrible at long range without it

1---- your mouse and game dont line up at all caught a few time it looks oposite of the way you move...nice excuses to how you snap on target lol...didnt need that its your guilt getting to you...
2--- you have no idea how a mouse works if you think just high dpi pixxel skips....its lies... if you doing that you need to rework your sens in game and settings....
3----- no one on a mouse is going to sit perfectly on the horizon like you do.....especially when you slanting your snaps
I am a mnk player....this vid has 1 good thing jump in private to learn you sens and find what you like....because theres not much if anything to actually help you practise out side of game
