Definitely optimize aim idle sway for mid range and long range. Subs doesn't matter nearly as much. Unfortunately, strafe sway is something you're stuck with regardless of attachments. Thanks for the vid!
Not necessarily true. I’ve not got this game yet but in mw2 foregrips like the lockgrip precision for example helped a lot with “gun bob” which is the strafe sway as you call it. I’m assuming those grips are still in this game
"gun bob" is aiming idle sway. There are lots of attachments that help with it. Strafe sway is a built in mechanic of the game where your reticle doesn't stay in the center of screen and is supposed to mimic weapon inertia. Attachment don't help this. Gents, I'm not sure what game you are playing but it's really not that complicated. Aiming Idle Sway (notice the word idle) has nothing to do with player movement. When you ADS it's the random motion of your reticle. This can be reduced with attachments as you saw with TGD and with Newt's vid. Strafe Sway only occurs with the movement of your reticle and it's the tendency of your aim point to drift from the center of the screen. This cannot be reduced with attachments. TGD does a great job of explaining both of these concepts. This is my last attempt. I wish you the best of luck with your MW3 endeavors.@@Adam-pk7go
I started using some of these with the stocks, under barrels, and more to offset this...on warzone you will have no choice but pick the best barrel that makes you sway more unfortunately
you literally saved me, i didn't buymw3 cuz i waited to get bo6, and I wanted to finally have a decent weapon in mw2 (since I stopped camo grinding mid way) and now, instead of using hours of mylife trying to get a gold camo, i literally do challenges in 2 to 3 games, which is a big change I'd also like to thanks @Manakuski for making me realise i was completly wrong about recoil in mw2, and that it was constant circular sway (so I couldn't make a diff in my gun range when making a class) now I def see recoil, but it's easily manageable and sway is nearly inexistant

I'm coming back to CoD after a few years of not playing. Man they did us MnK players kinda dirty, huh? I get that MnK has built-in advantages, but the pendulum swung wayy too far in favor of controllers. With the aim assist, controllers basically don't have to worry much about their point of aim being off. Not only do we have no aim assist (I'm fine w this) but now there's rng in the mix that messes with years of muscle memory? It sucks that we have to gimp our weapon loadouts to compensate, sacrificing movement speed and ads speed just to make guns behave the way that they should by default. Appreciate this vid though, I'll def use this info to make some new loadouts.
They should just make it console vs console and mnk vs mnk. The aim assist is less strong on this game but still strong. I think mnk players would have a better experience if they just played eachother.
Mouse is forced into a sight and stability on standard weapons but you can still use smgs or tac stance builds built for speed effectively just that you’re up against aimbotting controllers
This is the worst part. Not only do they have sticky aim, but they can build out their guns for super fast ADS with no penalty. In order to get a better aim, our guns are snail speed slow. Double whammy....
Good video, mostly accurate advice. I find the chewk angled grip to be nearly mandatory on most setups for Kbm because it also give you speed which is something stability builds usually lack. Speed is helpful when the enemy is shooting back at you to get behind cover.
He already has a vid about using a vpn, that might be the only option as you can connect to local servers for better ping and hopefully better connection, They are all paid services though. cant do anything for free unless you have a netduma router already that can act like a vpn to geolock

Having a really fast ads speed is very helpful too because the faster u aim in the faster u can adjust for the sway especially if u have snappy aim

I use tap to run that way i can walk when i want to and when i press shift i go into a tac sprint
Sniping feels awful to me on mouse and keyboard no matter my settings but your video helped ARs a lot

funny how controller players can just go for the raw speed, movement. but km players are forced on the slow meta
