    I do something similar but never use sour cream or ketchup and mustard. I use chili power among other spices like onion and garlic powder, season all, crushed red peppers and in the end I add lots of shredded cheese. I never buy the box anymore and I’m not a cook. Just something I attempted and happened to like

    I cooked this today and it is spectacular! The only thing I did differently is I didn’t include the sour cream. I also added better than bouillon paste one tablespoon, also added some red & green peppers & onions. I was skeptical about adding the ketchup and mustard, but it turned the flavor up to another level, I also used light cream (instead of heavy cream) to help make the cheddar & mozzarella creamy in the dish. Garnished with parsley! Delicious! Thanks for sharing! 👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾😊❤️

    The recipe was not hard to follow it was simple and super good. I was a little skeptical at first, adding the mustard and ketchup, but it's not that bad of a combo.
    What I tweaked:
    I added fresh onion and garlic.
    For spices salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, chili, and a bit of cayen pepper (enough for it to be a slight hint). I swapped out the hot sauce. And I added shredded gouda cheese
    Everybody enjoyed it, and even my picky eater brother had 2 bowls. He gave me a backhanded compliment, but I'm still astonished none the less.
    Tip: If you don't have beef stock just use water and beef buljong.

    • @layeredlikenachos
      @layeredlikenachos  2 роки тому +2

      Hey, you could use Greek Yogurt or plain yogurt if you have it, or you could use cottage cheese or I have even used cream cheese sometimes instead of sour cream. Or even milk would probably work.
