With all the little gadgets there are for jewelry making, someone needs to invent a little holder that will cradle the seed beads for when you want to go back up them. I don’t think I need to mention how tricky they can be to get back up in one go, if they were cradled and slightly gripped so they didn’t move it would be a piece of cake every time! Love the video as usual it’s fabulous work by the BHQ team, especially the tassle adding part that can be used for SO many different places you may want to add tassles. 👍👍🙂
Alexandra is so practical and fast but not the neatest. It's really cool you guys have different designers so we can find the style-technique we are more comfortable with. Amazing earrings!!
Thanks so much. Beautiful. Been looking for a tutorial like this for ages.
Wonderful 💫
This is so elegant! the colours go so well together. amazing job.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Don’t take this the wrong way, but I love it when the needle doesn’t always go through first go round etc, it reminds us your human too ! Love the design & the video 👍😉
truly beautiful and it looks quite easy but I am flabbergasted at the amount of waste y'all are OK with..... two feet or cord for a tiny inch of beading at the beginning. I have to be as frugal with my supplies as I am with my money. Again, the earrings are beautiful.
We appreciate the feedback! Sometimes we like using just a bit of extra cord as it shows up better on camera and might make certain steps easier to see. Also, a little extra cord is useful if we don't make an exact estimate at first. Thanks for watching!
I’m going to ask a really stupid question, but I just want to make sure I’m correct, when you do the tassle type earrings like this, or any of them really, the standard practice is to load up however many beads you want the length to be on the thread, and then turn the needle around, skip the very bottom bead you’ve just come out of, and go into the one right above it and go up ? I’ve watched countless videos etc about making the seed bead tassels (primarily) and no one really just puts that bit out in plain English, nor says how many times you should go up or down etc. as I said, silly question, but sometimes the real basics get overlooked, this video helped though.
If you are not using a different style bead at the bottom of your fringes, like the dagger beads in our project, you are correct, that is how you would go back up. Thanks for watching!
Beadaholique thank you very much for your reply :)
