Lovely design! I like using wire stringing materials for lighter pearls, since the larger weighted pearls might over time experience some light sawing action inside the holes and therefore most people prefer natural cord for the larger pearls. Beadalon has been great for me. I've never experienced any sawing myself and I've gone up to a size 12mm round pearl with the wire. I do, however, prefer to run about an inch of my wire tail through the last few beads on each side rather than cutting off the tail at the crimp because over time with alot of wear, the wire at the crimp may poke out and be scratchy or can actually become a weak point if the design has a lot of beads on it. So, keeping an inch of length to run through the last bit of beads (usually 1-4 beads depending on my design) makes me feel more secure with the piece and no grabbing my sleeves or scratching with pokey bits. lol. That's just my process, but I love how beautiful this turned out. Thanks for sharing!

    FYI- It's point 38mm
(.38) which is very different from 38mm. Your instructions are very clear and you're a good teacher. Many thanks!

Great tip, I like the crimper you used, I'm having a hard time with my 1-step crimper. TFS!!

Thank you, great inspiration here! I always forget I can mix up beads rather than using a whole strand as is. The one problem I have had with crimp covers is that the sharp edges eventually cut right through the wire. Perhaps I am closing them too tightly.

Depending on the thickness of your material, you may not want to close the crimp covers all the way. Just in case, I recommend our video on crimp covers: www.beadaholique.com/how-to-use-crimp-covers.html

I don't know what I do wrong with crimps as they tend to open back up so I am discouraged from using them ugh. I really like your crimping tool I may try again with your tool to see if it helps. I would love to master crimping.
