Sounds good to hire mental health workers to respond to emergency situations but I can tell you what's going to happen . A mental health worker will respond but will ask for a police backup so you'll have a police officer dealing with protecting the mental health worker and controlling the mental patient while the mental health worker is telling the police officer what to do.

He plans on reinstating the “head tax” on # of employees which obviously hurts small businesses the most since they can comparatively least afford it. He also has plans to tax commuters with an already financially hobbled Loop that desperately needs increased foot traffic or will just become the biggest collective of vacant super luxury housing and empty offices in the world. BJ is running on vibes alone, and his vibes based spending plan is built on the assumption that airlines are just going to give him $500 million of his needed $800 million for “polluting the air” as if we never asked them to. That’s not exactly well planned or realistic, and that’s why the bill will inevitably fall on the middle class like it always does. All while doing absolutely nothing to address the immediacy of violent crime. We’ll just have to wait for the community investment to get people to put their guns down
