I wore my hair like this all the time in high school because I didn’t know what else to do with it but it’s still a go to of mine

Melanin Monroe ok I believe I have 4c hair and it’s easy to sleek down if I put any gel and a scarf over my head and wait for like 20 min. But only if it’s stretched(no heat) but it won’t be straight it’ll have waves.... so when u say u can’t slick it down what do you mean, because I hear 4c ppl say this a lot
Claire T we mean it will puff up and it sometimes is to thick to put in a bun .
@@inspiration100100 gel makes my hair curl up and sometimes even when I use jam and edge control, my hair still gets frizzy. Plus I have to use a lot of product because my hair is too thick

I love the bun with a side part I do that and I'll also do a ponytail with a side part but I use scrunchies my favorite style is down with a Sleek middle part tucked perfectly behind both ears what's a pair of silver hoops to finish the look does anybody like that style

Laporsche La Belle try sectioning each part then applying the gel. It’ll be better and also use some freeze pray .
