I have really thick hair as well. I tried this technique and it worked out perfectly!! I always use water, so I was surprised it worked out better without water. Quickest low bun I've ever done.
Thank you!!
Also, can you do a high bun tutorial?
Your hair is so thick!
You lost me at no water but I continued watching to see how it turned out and the results were really cute! As a natural with thick, highly textured, waist length hair, I know my hair needs water to even be pliable! I wear a bun pretty much all the time due to my job and my program in school (hair can’t be in our faces) so I have become the bun queen but it is always nice to see other techniques. Thanks for sharing!
That’s honestly what I love about natural hair! Our hair is so diverse and thrive with methods that work specifically for the individual. Thanks so much for watching ❤️
No water makes sense. If you stretch your hair and dry it the hair will lay down smoother and it won’t shrink as much. I’ll be trying this.
@@nefertiti9109most people say they save on using a lot gel and product by using water. I use a lil clove water myself. I achieve my best results with damp hair. So many methods. ❤
When i use water my hair instantly start shrinking, it makes the process so harder on my hands
how do you avoid fishtail breakage with frequent buns and ponytails
Saved my morning with this tutorial! The no water tip 👌🏾
I'm Ashley Renee too!
This bun turned out bomb😍😍😍
i don’t have these types of curls but i do have a lot of hair and thick hair. this video is great. i see a lot of sleek pony/bun videos but their hair is way thinner than mine so this one was helpful asf. thank you
I always used water it was such a mess and a waste of gel but dry it’s like the gel permeates the hair a lot better WAY easier to slick down! And I get to keep my hair blow dried and long rather than dealing with shrinkage it’s a win win!!!
Wow, I normally always use water first but today i followed your routine without water and it’s perfect!
Thank you😊
I always use water I think imma need to try it without water 😩I feel as if the water helps a lil bit I guess water isn’t needed for the hair all the time
@@julysascott3384 I thought water helped but there’s water in the gel anyway. Honestly try it without water, you will be surprised!
@@iza595 I have something called beeswax gel do you think it would be okay to put it on the hair dry ?
We have the same hair texture. Thanks for posting!
Your hair is gorgeous. I will try this hairstyle. Thank you for sharing!!

J' ADORE 💕
God bless you ❤love this video 😊
Heyy 😀
I think I got lost ok how you put each section into the ponytail holder you used for the first section. Or do you use a new ponytail holder for each new section?
After I’m done working with each section, I use the same ponytail holder to pull all of my hair back
Needed this because this was my question too 😅
Thank you both 💓
What brand of scrunchies are you using
I want to know the brand for all of the hair supplies she used to do this style.
Where’d you find this scarf? I never see these in any stores
Right I want to know that as well as the brands for the other stuff used to do this style.
What’s your hair type
I have really thick hair as well and doing things like puffs are usually a no go for me.
Nah, cause you don't got no business being that pretty 😭
How long is this process lol😅?
I’ve always tried doing slick backs but it’d always be a big lump in the back but this time it wasn’t thank you 😭🫶🏾
