To start working in Germany as a software engineer with an unskilled job contract, you need to verify the legitimacy of the job offer and ensure it meets German labor standards. Next, apply for a work visa by submitting the necessary documents, such as your job contract, to the German embassy or consulate in your home country.

If I have a computer science degree since 2013 but do not have any software development work experience. Would they still permit me to work in Germany?

Yes, it is possible to immigrate to Germany as a software engineer with a computer science degree but without direct software development work experience. However, securing a job offer in your field is essential for the work visa application. Your education may qualify you for positions that require a degree in computer science, and employers may consider your academic background in lieu of direct experience for certain roles.

I don't have a degree but I have 2 years experience as full stack developer, is it hard to get a job offer without degree? I didn't see many job posting requiring a degree

Getting a job in Germany as a software engineer without a degree, but with 2 years of experience as a full-stack developer, is possible but may present challenges. The tech industry often values skills and experience, and many employers may consider your practical experience even without a formal degree. However, visa and work permit requirements could be more complex without a degree. Networking and showcasing your skills through a strong portfolio can improve your chances.

I am hesitating/feeling demotivated to start applying in Germany after this comment on a youtube video. Do you agree with the comment and what you recommend I should do ?
      Comment -
"Did my masters in CS from a German university and even after 1 year I couldn't get a job. It's not easy, just 10% of Indians studying here can get a job in Germany/EU.
All companies ask for German proficiency at least C1 level and 5+ years of relevant experience in the skill shortage occupations. Learn all about software stuff in German which is very complicated.
It looks good from the outside. The quality of education is not that great. Companies prefer Germans or EU candidates over Indians. I rarely see Indians getting any job or internship.
I did it from RWTH. In my batch, just 10% of Indians got a job. Mostly girls.
Lots of Indians are coming with 10+ years of experience so it's really difficult due to the competition.
No one cares about your degree.
No one will give you an internship. No one will train you from scratch.
You need to prove that you are much smarter than the German/EU candidate.
Having good experience and language proficiency is extremely important.
Lots of other options rather than wasting money here. Come here on a job seeker's visa.
Part-time jobs are nearly impossible, and room rent + other expenses can easily cost 650 -850 Euros per month.
Salaries are not good. Just 30k average salary, after tax it will be 1800 Euros so can't save anything and can't live like rich life - separate apartment, traveling regularly and eating out regularly.
You will sometimes feel having a 10LPA job in India is far better.
And now with the recession, a lot of Indians are fired. And it's getting more expensive to live here.
And if you are coming here to make German friends or marry a German girl then forget it. Most Germans hang out with Europeans only and are racist toward Indians. You will be left alone and soon after a few months it becomes depressing - no friends, loneliness, bad food, bad weather, and struggle for jobs. German women always prefer a White guy even if he is dumb, unemployed, divorced father, and alcoholic.
Just make a profile on the dating apps you will get to know.
Still, if you want to come then better learn German C1 level, clear some exams, and have 3-4 years of experience. Plan accordingly."
      Please reply

Yes, there are data jobs in Germany that allow for family relocation, but they are not always available. Consider firms that provide relocation packages, employment boards, and recruiting agencies.

Hi can you emigrate without experience in the field?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  Рік тому +1

It is tough to immigrate to Germany as a software developer without prior expertise. The majority of employment openings need education and experience, and the German government favors German and EU/EFTA nationals. It may be doable if you have a degree and are prepared to get experience through internships or entry-level work. For more precise information, contact the German embassy or consulate.
