Jesus was breaking physical bread and passing a physical cup at the time he was telling d disciples to "repeat in memory of me" - keep this tradition even after I am gone...
After all, he had been teaching them in parables and sermons at different times b4 that super, but he still broke physical bread with them. Maybe he should have told them to concentrate on d teachings he has given them

The question is, is God angry with us for taking communion? This is a fundamental question that needs an answer as guided by the holy spirit.
So what about when Jesus said.. "do this in remembrance of me"? Dr Damina is being consumed by his own pride. Damina is right, everyone else is wrong. But most of the time, he turns a blind eye to critical parts of scriptures, while making categorical statements that amount to blatant heresies.
The breaking of bread was done in the evening so it is called supper.This breaking of bread,He said we should do it time and again as believers.This is a command from Jesus to do the physical part of it while all spiritually eating the word of God.The world should know that these revelations of the gospel is not for one but many believers know these things they are not new but the approaches of some people are not all correct.for example we are baptized by the Holy spirit but also water baptism is not left out for a believer.
And water baptism is a prerequisite for what, exactly?

•WHAT IS the holy COMMUNION
It is an act of eating and drinking the blood and flesh of Jesus, made available to believers for the remembrance of Jesus's Birth, works, powers, crucifixion, death, resurrection, the finished works and His return.

It is an act of remembrance.
Jesus knows that we can forget him easily so He left us with the communion for his remembrance.
For Eg, a military personnel can leave his dog tag with a love one...
Which is a promise that I'll return.
When Jesus was about to leave, he left with us the communion to often remind us about the finished works.
"For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes".

But there is a misconception orchestrated by Satan about this Holy Communion which has derailed many from partaking of it.

We eat the Word and live not bread and wine bought from the counter of a supermarket. The elements of the Communion of themselves don't give life. The Word is life- the words He speaks to us are spirit and life.

When we pray over the emblems, - the wine and the wafers by faith, they will no longer remain that but the Blood and Body of Christ . By faith and in faith, it gives us good health, healing , long life and eternal life. We must do this in faith. After all Jesus used bread and wine and not his real flesh-and-blood .
Breaking the Lord's bread can be at church or at home or anywhere . Having Understanding and having faith in this command of Christ makes the difference. The important thing is not location or time or day, but the remembrance of the Blood and Body of CHRIST that saved us. We must not forget that early church worshipped services were held in homes. The church in Jerusalem- Mary's home -Acts --12:12--, at Philippi-Lydia's home -Acts --16:40--, at Ephesus- Aquila and Priscilla's home,-1Corinthians 16:19, at Colossae -Philemon's home- Philemon 2. "ChurCh" gathering of saints is anywhere. Countries Where Christians are persecuted may have no "Church"

Mind u, he had been teaching them the word for 3 years and was still breaking bread with them even uptill when he was going away.
Maybe he should have told them to go and concentrate on what he had taught them instead of breaking bread as communion. But alas, he did break bread with them and asked them to keep d tradition even in his absence. (Maybe guess he did that bcos of people like u who can stir up rebellion after he had gone😊)

In Corinthians 11 the church participated in lord's supper... In verse 22 Paul asked them "Dont you have houses where you can eat and drink for your full verse (it is because they didnt show revence in what they were, they took it for something like party) in the 23th verse he specificate where he received this... He says" for i received from the Lord which i also delivered to you" so he did not receive it from Luke... PAUL WAS TEACHING THE CHURCH... which means even when he was gone they continued and in this teaching Paul shows that it was not the first time doing this, you can tell from his teaching e.g when he said, "which i also DELIVERED to you(church of Corinth..."

As long as i am born again and spirit filled and baptised, spirit filled. I will continue to pray in tongues, break the bread and take the cup, give tithe, offering, freewill offering, partnership, soulwinning and righteous living until Christ comes.
Its better that i stand before God and He says to me that i didnt understand what the bibe teaches than for Him to say that i disobeyed Him.

What is not working for you is working for others
The passover was a yearly feast. And it is always done on the 14th day of abib. There's therefore no reason for jesus to celebrate it with them after his resurrection. Therefore, the supper(the wine and the bread) ought to be done on the 14th day of every abib/Nissan.
When we loose someone we love to death, do we celebrate them daily? What do we understand by remembrance? That should answer our doubts

1.Saying Hell is the absence of light or God and hence absolving God of its its creation and responsibility is self deception.From the same Holy realm called God proceeded light and darkness, life and death, salvation and sin , Abel and Cain, Esau and Jacob.Christ and the devil, good and evil.
2.If water baptism was not necessary, There would not have been water baptism again after Cornelius had believed and received the Holy Ghost in Acts 10. Same happened in Acts 19,Acts 8 etc Even Apostle was baptised calling in the name of the Lord.Damina should stop deceiving people unless he is on a mission.
3.Communion in 2cor 11 and feet washing in John 13 were rituals done by Christians like us today in obedience to Christ commandments to publicly proclaim our Emancipation from sin and faith in the finished work of christ .Refusal to observe them means denying christ and his sacrifices publicly .Again Dr Damina can re write his own Bible to expunge them from his own Bible to tell a different story like no disciple or believers ever took Communion or did water baptism and surely he will get followers.

The emblems used during the Passover are Bread and Fruit of Vine. The unleavened bread symbolized the body of Christ that knew no evil. The cup of wine also symbolized the blood of Jesus Christ, who Himself is the true vine. Is the Passover merely an external observance of religious rite? No, it is indeed a spiritual and solemn ordinance ordered by the Lord Himself, Jesus Christ of Nazareth commanded that this sacred ordinance should be observed as remembrance of Him. It is therefore necessary for believers to do well to be partakers of this divine ordinance as a sign of obedience to Him, most importantly to be part of Him. The early Church observed the ordinance and was greatly blessed. First and foremost serves as remembrance of our Lord and Saviour. It confirms the Lord’s death and equally signifies His second coming (IS. 53:1-12; LK. 22:14-23; 1COR. 10:14,-22, 11:23-234).

Here’s what I’m convinced of again and again: the word of God is truth and that is the standard, Jesus’ words, teachings and life are the real standard. BUT NO MAN, absolutely no preacher, no ´organised insritution’, no ´movement’, no traditions except that clearly taught by Christ, is an authority on scriptures. Scriptures answer to scriptures and God is the authority. The closer one seeks God the more He will be found, not through a preacher or traditions or so called ´new’ revelation but by the WORD OF GOD which is Christ Himself, His teachings and His examples.

I'm only pointing to others who unfortunately might be swayed by his teaching to have a rethink and search the scriptures to know the truth. For Christ is our Passover, Apostle Paul, in his epistle, alluded to the Passover as a type of Christ. He says; “Purge out therefore the old leaven for Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us, therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, either with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” (1COR 5:6-8).

Sir, you err on some things which are vital to the Christian faith. The aspect of the Lord's supper and Hell stands out for me. The Lord's supper was instituted by Christ himself in Luke 22 specifically in 19B it's instructed that it should be done in remembrance of him; also Paul in 1 Cor 11 specifically in verse 23 also instructed on the Lord's Supper. Holy Communion as a word may not be in the bible just like Trinity is not, your standpoint is not correct. So, it is not true that the institution is not in the Gospel or Epistles. Second, Hell is a place Luk16:23, Acts 2:27 it is not just the separation from God. This is JW doctrine, you need to check it. While I agree with a lot of the points, I think some are incorrect. The Lord grant us understanding. Amen.

I have replied to let you know there are good and bad successes. The owner of any wealth knows the source. Apart from this, tithe is not all about money as you people think. "...... and pour blessings....". Blessings are not money alone: good health, wisdom, visions, promotions etc. Moreover, everyone pays tithe in one way or the other either you are hardworking or not.

When the world, TV stations, content creators and people that normally bashes men of God suddenly loves a man of God. Then it's a red flag to me... How come he's the only one seeing so many things that are not true with the Bible and what have been taught. Just because he preaches one truth and the rest with very smart errors. My summary about this man called Abel Damina aka global Baba has goofed from the faith. All he does is bragging over knowledge not better than the agnostics of old. He really doesn't have the spirit of Christ in him. All is doing is not edifying the body of Christ rather is carrying the critics of Christianity and other faiths or religions on his shoulders as they celebrate him.
Its Dangerous to Study scriptures in Isolation, you need to back up a Scripture with a minimum of 2 or 3 other scriptures. I respect Dr. Damina knowledge of the Bible but struggling with his submission on Holy Communion(Jesus clearly instructed the practice be done in his remembrance and you can only remember someone who is not physically present with you in Luke22v19 "And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”. 2, The statement that hell is the "absence of God" does not look 100 % accurate. Jesus came for those that are lost and sick among us and cant find anywhere in scripture he is interested in saving anyone in hell. Afterall, his essence is for us not end up in hell. Hell is real and the bible clearly demonstrate that. I salute Dr. Damina scriptural insight but struggle on the above. We that give tithe also seperate money to give to the poor, our parents, our spiritual father and his work every month and we aren't poor because GOD have always been faithful.
Your problem with giving your tithe to the needy isn't because you like the needy that Much an issue of much money at hand because those who give tithe to church possibly give more than 10% that you give to the poor to the same set of poor people around them and they possibly earn more than you do sef meaning their 10% is more than yours.
