My E63s runs 7,4-7,6 Stock. With 700HP straight the E63s runs 100-200 around 6,2-6,3 something is wrong here. Add a downpipe and you run 5,7 100-200. I have Dragy Runs if anyone doubts it :).

As a female let me start off by saying that I genuinely enjoyed the video. I'm amazed at how you two were able to get even more power out of the already powerful AMG E63s. I'm probably one of those rare girls who truly like cars. I also have a need for speed. I love fast cars. A finally tuned engine is a site to behold.
Having said that, oh my god. These two guys are HOT! They are handsome and smart. What a great combination. When they switched from English to Deutsch, I nearly lost it. How sexy.

What is the e63s automatic transmission max hp and torque limit?
What about the cooling system?
Can it cope with the extra hp?
These cars are known to go into limp mode when driven hard....
Thank you for your feedback, well as we stated in the video we already reduced the power from over 720 HP and 1000 Nm of torque to 710 HP and 970 Nm. We always try not to reach the cars max performance output so that everything is still on a save side.
We did a lot of test runs with the tuned car in different road scenarios and the car could handle that performance easily without having any problems or going into limp mode.

I talked with our development team and it is nearly impossible to get the exact numbers from an official source that is telling you the max hp and torque limit. But we have a lot of experience with the 4.0L V8 engine already from pevoius production cars like the AMG GT and C63. Especially the C63 we tuned a lot of them already and they also drive around 900 Nm of torque without a problem. Of course you should always treat a car well and go to every maintenance interval from your workshop.
Mr Mysterious how do you expect these guys to know max power potential? NOBODY KNOWS until it breaks. Try asking an AMG engineer and see if he doesn't ignore, deflect, or laugh in your face.

I have a 2014 E63-S Wagon. Would I see comparable gains on the 5.5 Biturbo engine? Also, as I am sure you have sold to people with the MCT-7 transmission before,.. have there been any issues ie; should I consider a transmission upgrade?
Hello Anonimo, we sold a lot of RaceChips for the 5.5 AMG engine with MCT-7 transmission and they're running absolutely fine (including the transmission of course). You should be able to get HP values from 620 to 680 after tuning, depending on the RaceChip model you choose (S, RS or GTS Black).

Thanks! We're using the Qstarz 6000S for our tests which works really good. Can't help you with the app unfortunately but I hope this still helps ;)
First of all is this power level achieved only with GTS Black, or will all the RaceChip boxes achieve this power level please? Finally when you did this testing/tuning what setting was the GTS Black in as I see they have 7 settings and then also have an efficiency, sport and race mode, so to replicate these results do I need to buy GTS Black, if so what settings do I run it in please?
The power level in our video can only be achieved with the GTS Black which is our top tier product. If you opt in for the RS (which is the only other of our products available for the E63 S), you will get a maximum power increase which is a little bit lower.
The performance increase in our video was achieved with a GTS Black on setting 7. For our customers, we ship the GTS Black on setting 5 as standard because we have to factor in the serial tolerances of each engine (meaning: if your specific car maybe pulls even more HP in stock conditions, setting 7 might be above the tolerances of your ECU). Hence, you should always install the product with our standard setting first and do and extensive test drive afterwards. If, after some time, you feel the need for more power, you can always increase the settings step by step to 6 and 7 - and again, do an extensive test drive afterwards to make sure the ECU of your car tolerates the increased performance values.
The settings Efficiency, Sport and Race which you mentioned are only valid for our app control, which you can add to our products as an extra. In this case you don't have the usual settings 1-7 but instead, you get the three settings Efficiency (equal to setting 3), Sport (equal to setting 5) and Race (equal to setting 6). If those three mappings don't fit your needs (because e.g. you want your Race setting to be equal to setting 7), our technical customer support can send updated settings directly to you app.
One last thing: For high performance engines with a performance upgrade like the RaceChip, we always recommend to only use high quality / high octane fuel. This is because a car which is optimized for high octane fuel from the factory won't run better after a power upgrade of course.
Thank you for the detailed and extensive reply, that is a sign of a great company indeed. I know the RS gives lower overall power, but are the power curves and torque curves still mirroring the factory curves like the GTS and the only difference just been power between RS and GTS? As what is great about this is you really matched the factory power curves with just more everywhere but whilst maintaining the curves so the drive ability remains like stock but of course more power. :)
Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad that I was able to answer your questions. The curves will have the same stock characteristics with the RaceChip RS. Only the performance increase (hp as well as torque) is lower as with the RaceChip GTS Black.

Hat er dann immer noch die gleiche Leistung? Man hört immer wieder, das die Fahrzeuge die Mehrleistung erkennen, besonders das Getriebesteuergerät erkennt doch zu viel Drehmoment und regelt die Leistung wieder ein, welche Erfahrung habt ihr damit gemacht?
Danke dir! Freut uns sehr, dass dir unser Video gefällt! Tatsächlich handelt es sich dabei um ein kontrovers diskutiertes Thema, welches wir in unseren Tests allerdings nie nachvollziehen konnten. Neben unseren Showcars (aktuell bspw. MB C43 AMG, Audi RS3 oder bis vor kurzem noch der McLaren 570S), die wir während der Laufzeit viele tausend Kilometer bewegen, testen wir oftmals auch Entwicklungsfahrzeuge nach einer gewissen Laufleistung erneut auf dem Prüfstand und in keinem Fall konnten wir eine Leistungsreduktion sehen. Als gut nachvollziehbares Beispiel haben wir seit über 2 Jahren einen BMW 320d mit mittlerweile über 125.000 km als Flottenfahrzeug im Einsatz und die Leistung mit Tuning ist heute noch dieselbe wie bei der ersten Messung nach der Einfahr-Periode.

The drivetrain horsepower loss, according to your dyno figures, with the stock tune was 26% yet with the modified enhanced tune it was closer to 22%. Can you explain why?
Hi, between the runs we’ve took the car off the dyno. So, the different loos values are resulting due to the fixing of the car which is a little bit different each time. Also, the temperature of the tyres plays a role.However, our MAHA dynamometer set the drag power off against the wheel power of each run. Therefore the measurements are all comparable.
Ok, interestingly the factory tune figures vary considerably according to the dynos used eg VF Engineering suggest approx 660 flywheel peak horsepower and Renntech closer to 690 hp. Mercedes advertise 603 hp between 5750-6500 instead of peak horsepower. So what is the real horsepower figure?
Well, it depends also a little bit on the Dyno you are using. Dynojet or Mustang will give you good numbers when it comes to wheel-hp. Some Dynos are not even measuring the power loss from flywheel to wheels, so numbers will be calculated based on a fix value.
MAHA is known for really accurate measurings for flyhweel-hp and wheel-hp, as power loss will be measured all the time.
Mercedes claims 603hp between 5750-6500 which is basically the peak power. Engines have serial tolerances, so every engine will show a slightly different result.
Out of experience, i can tell you, most engines got a little bit more then "stock" power figures.
Yep the way i see it is that dynos are useful as a tuning device and there are substantial gains to be had particularly as manufacturers are conservative with their tuning. The E63S is a bloody quick 4 door sedan that's for sure...
I've used lots of dynos on lots of cars and I can certainly confirm when it comes to flywheel horsepower nothing is more accurate than MSR500 dyno, they are exceptional as they measure coastdown correctly and make no guess at flywheel but it correctly calculated from coastdown. :)
is there a limit of a km-lifetime after which you wouldn't chip-tune a 4663 cm3 v8 cls500 (2015) motor anymore? maybe 100000km?or 150000km?

Actually, the limit for tuning a car doesn't depend on the milage as much as it depends on the condition of the car. If you always brought it to the garage for services, made sure the engine always ran with enough oil and didn't push it hard as long as the oil temperature was low, you should be good to go even above 100.000 km.

Waisoserious haha my GLC43 AMG crossover was dynoed with 400 lb torque with 385 hp!!! Mercedes underrated their horsepower from factory!
Thought these where way quicker stock! My w204 c63 which is 510hp n/a with long tube headers runs a 7.8 100-200, and tuned 710 bhp and not even closes to the 6 seconds range, something is off here very slow tbf
True I was about to say that, considering I have seen people measure 7.6sec on a stock e63s something surely up

Before you go through with a racechip purchase -- IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING PURCHASING THE APP CONTROL you should purchase it because Racechip is a Deceiving company and does not warn you that you cannot purchase the app to add on later. Now I have a racechip gts that i MUST get out of my car and pop the hood just to adjust the tuner. VERY DISPLEASED CUSTOMER
Hello, I'm sorry that you are unhappy with the way we're offering our app control. Actually, it's not possible to simply activate the app connection after purchase because our app controlled chips have a separate board with bluetooth chip which the non-app-models don't have. Hence, there are no bad intentions on our side but instead it's a separate product (hardware-wise). Also, we quite clearly communicate in our shop that the app feature is an add-on which has to be purchased as an extra. Independently, we're offering a 30 days return period to our customers so if you bought it recently and want the app model instead, you can simply return it and buy the RaceChip with app control. Hope this makes things a bit more clear.

Yes sure that would be interesting to see, but the 100-200 is a more decisive measurement, because you don't lose any traction from the start.

u know the way the C63, E63 all share the same 4L biturbo V8, right, and when you put racechips on them, all of them get different hp outputs, like the C63 tops out at 600hp, but the E63 top out at 710, but they have the same engine, so y is there a difference. is it to do with the E63 different parts than a c63?
They share the same engine base, but the E63 S AMG V8 is not only modified in the software to get a higher performance output in stock, also some components are modified than in the previous production cars like the AMG GT or C63. So this gives us the opportunity to upper the performance in the E63S to 710 HP without reaching the maximum performance output that this engine can produce. As Daniel mentioned in the video even with 710 HP we're still on a save side. Let me know if you have any more question.

The Mercedes E63 S AMG 4Matic+ is indicated from the factory with 450 kW which is around 603 HP and 850 Nm of torque. But that doesn't mean that every E63S AMG has the same performance output in stock condisitions.The E63 AMG that we measured on our dyno had 636 PS which are around 627 HP.
