So. I am deaf. Got 2 cochlear implants and recovered enough to listen to music again, and start playing the piano again. You can't imagine how valuable it is to me to be able to enjoy your play, and feel the emotions you put in this piece. Wow. Thanks for that.
Simply brilliant. You sir are my favorite pianist out there today. A true inspiration. I look up to you and you’re technique and passion in each piece you play.
This is absolutely DIVINE. I am currently leaning this piece and, my God… it would take me years to be even close as good as you I love your raw emotion and passion with this piece. Such an out of body experience
Wonderful, simply wonderful. The play with the dynamics in the first part was incredibly impressive and unexpected. I haven't heard something like that before. Sincere and honest congratulations for your marvelous job!
Holy shit. I am currently learning this piece and that blurry hand speed at the end of the pieces plunge into chaos is something I will never be able to do. I can play it as written. But his emotional interpretation is why he is a master and I will forever remain a peon. That was a beyond how it was written. That was him pouring his soul out.
This is a dynamic and passionate rendition of this piece. This composition says so much in just over 4 minutes. Thank you for this great recording of it.
I mean.. I think that everyone that performs this piece looses a bit of their soul every time. It takes courage to do this! As audience we just see the soul pours out of the performer. Mr. R. did some next level stuff! This performance is really outstanding in timing and expression(s). It must have been hard, yet releaving to have played this. I guess this gave a good nights sleep :-)
Your sensitive performance is with passion, mindful not to beat the keys as so many others, but to caress them with poignancy and fire! Love your performance. ❤️
Ive seen Evgeny Kissin play this on youtube several times in different videos and as a beginner pianist learning this piece Im looking for a pianist that makes the piano sing while playing this particular piece. For the piano to sing this particular piece It takes more than most people imagine in my opinion. Long story short, Evgeny Kissin and several professional pianists are not able to produce the sound that you produce while playing this piece Andrej. I have seen masterclasses on youtube and the advices they give to people all with the same goal, to make the piano sing and I can hear that you make use many of these advices that are given in masterclasses. I can hear the bell clearly in the beginning for example and the sound is not horizontal, you manage to hold those notes a little longer which creates a beautiful singing sound. Your fortissimo is very powerfull also but you are not banging on the piano with a hammer which I see many professional pianists miss. In my opinion they look weak in these parts. The fortissimo in this piece, I perceive it as strong frustrating feeling or regret which is determined, something along those lines which I feel fits very well with a strong and powerfull fortissimo. Very well done, you teached us how to add something special when playing piano and how to actually make the piano sing and not only focus on technical parts. With very basic knowledge I think Its possible to play beautifuly on the piano and enjoy the instrument even if we are not on a professional level but to be able and produce this kind of sound is something special and Im happy just to be able and achieve that.
And to think that this piece was composed by a 19 year old boy. Oh, and by the way, his name was Sergei Rachmaninoff, but you knew that already, didn't you?
Effectivement pas facile, mais je sais que tu vas maîtriser , c'est magnifique, je te vois bien à la place du Pianiste le look d'un beau gars aux yeux verts . Bisous.

Rachmaninoff managed to summarize the 5 stages of Grief in one piece
- denial
- anger
- bargaining
- depression
- acceptance
damn bro, this feels really true
This guy plays with such pure emotion its amazing
You have poured your soul in this performance huge respect!!!
Très belle interprétation riche en sensibilité. Une exécution parfaite. Brillante performance. Merci
I've watched this so many times in the past few days. That was an amazing performance. I wish I could witness this in person
Incredible performance. So cathartic to watch and listen to this. Thank you.

Спасибо за теплые слова, Людмила!
Great performance. If you're not beating the hell out of your piano when playing this song, you're not doing it right!
I'm glad you liked it!
@@andreyosokin It is by far my favorite playing of this piece I have ever found online! Subscribed
You could say he owns the song now from that beastly performance
Thank you, Anthony!
what about Rachmaninoff though? like I mean, he did write it and conceive of it, and when he played it himself, it sounded pretty okay.

Your sensitive performance is with passion, mindful not to beat the keys as so many others, but to caress them with poignancy and fire! Love your performance. ❤️
Neatly captures the slow descend to madness. I always lose control in the adagio section and just power through. Magnificent!
Thank you, Catra!
I didn't think this was possible. I've heard others try to achieve this and fail.

@David Topchiev not only you I hear it a little
Que intensidad. Tanta emocion plasmado al tocar el piano.
Muchas gracias, Amarant!
That’s so dope❤❤
Simply A M A Z I N G 🧡😌🧡
Thank you, Claudia!
Bravo! Im currently learning this piece on my own! Btw how do you play both the low c# and b at the same time in the agitato section?
You should play the C# as a upbeat to the B.
Blues Rat You need play this c# not in same time, but you just need bring your hand fast from c# to b ( i suppose that my advice useless)
Use the middle pedal, play the C# then switch to the B really fast
Sergei had REALLY large hands. He could play both notes in sync. :)
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🥰👏👏
This is what I look like when I write.
wow
I never knew Jon Snow could play piano!
