    The County Down band perform a translation of the old Donegal song ‘Donal Óg’.

    This episode of ‘At The Embankment’ was broadcast on 15 October 1976.
    ‘At The Embankment’ was a 12-week music series featuring well-known performers on the traditional Irish music scene, recorded at The Embankment pub in Tallaght, County Dublin. It ran from 1 October to 17 December 1976.

    I was born in 76...and was lucky enough to emigrate from Savalbeg to the Ryan road in 86..when us dumb kids got handed sponsorship cards to raise a few bucks for unknown causes we always left Mick till last..I honestly wish I could remember all the riddles he told me..but I was late for my dinner and its not nice cold
