This reminded me of being told by my coach that 'if you want to attack the elbow, you need to control the shoulder' same for most joint locks
Yes! Always control the joint above the one you’re going to break.
And controlling the elbow really helps with helps with wristlocks. 😀
I'm always entering and then losing the finish, so shoulder pressure is they key!
