Appreciate you my man, I used to watch you a lot back in the day. I was apart of the RC7 cracked era, but I felt it wasn't really important enough to include as a part of the video. Looking back I think it would've made for an important bridge between exploiting being a more obscure part of the Roblox community to becoming much more popular at the time

I used to exploit back in early 2017, the whole experience was something different and you documenting the fabled exploiting community really made me realise how lucky I am to exploit predating the removal of FD. The amount of exploits I used is unimaginable and 90% fulfilled my expectations but when I got Synapse, that shit was life-changing. I still have connections with some well-known people from the exploiting community even after leaving, and I mostly met them in the old Roblox community. Still a bit sad you didn't document some exploits like Bleu, Cereberus and such cause they were pretty great at what they were meant to do.
Oh, forgot to mention that a cool thing you could've added was the fact that Synapse X's source code from 2019 leaked, the holder of the source was selling it so the developers flat-out released it so nobody would get ripped off and so onlookers can get educated via what's in there. The source code contains practically everything from their own virtual machine dubbed as HSVM (Hook-Based Synapse Virtual Machine), their memcheck and to their own bot. Mind you when looking through the source code some of it may be written in x86 assembly in which I'm not sure why.
Golden ages were amazing. I wish BTools was mentioned in this video because I would use this program back in 2016 to launch BTools onto my client which would put a menu on the top of the window where I could do so much stuff. I would be on Mad Games 24/7 deleting everything and making little platforms and stuff, just absolutely ruining the whole game serverside, it was honestly incredible.

Man, I miss those days. Watching Citizen and various other UA-camrs causing chaos inside Roblox games was really fun. Even though I don't exploit anymore, it's still fun to watch those UA-camrs even now they have to use backdoors if they want to have a glimpse of these days. Still, I'm surprised that Roblox did not introduce the client-server model sooner. It's really true that Roblox only does something if it's for the media.

Video is right. Also. I hate how Roblox fixed the catastrophic exploiting. You mentioned they fixed it where people can't use server side in 2018 but it was actually 2016 as something called "Experimental Mode" as an option, then in 2018 it was made a requirement. The biggest reason I hate it is because a lot of games back then used a lot of localscripts to do stuff since it was a lot easier than having to use remotes. A game i played as a kid "Week at Scoops 2", as well as "Mashables" are broken for this reason. A bunch of gears also use client scripts (thats why some gears are broken and still unfixed). So it broke a bunch of stuff but stopped exploiters from deleting the world or kicking people.
That one cheat you mentioned from 2011-12 was actually something called Textcode. It allowed people to open up roblox studio stuff inside the game client, so people could do things like copy games, change/add things inside whatever server they were in, and of course create and run scripts. I actually still have textcode on my pc to this very day. If you do enough digging you can see users back in the day showcasing it.
Synapse, before Raindrop, used to be a simple commands executer named Semicol0n. I remember how hyped I was figuring that it was going to become a level 7. Such a fun time..
Man I started and the end of the golden era in 2017, bought a Synapse license and I specifically remember the first thing I did was join “Draw It!” If anyone else remembers that game, and I immediately executed DEX and would change all the values. It was awesome, I could manipulate the person who was “currently drawing” making it John Doe or ROBLOX, and make the drawing topic to the most explicit things imaginable that I definitely cannot ever repeat again. The game was so string-value heavy I was able to manipulate it in other ways I can’t remember but needless to say it was really fun before games were force filtered.
I was hoping u would speak about dupe exploit which has affected roblox game's economy for years and has ruined item values on mm2,adopt me,psx and other large trading related games but no one really talks about dupe exploit when they take the topic of exploiting on roblox. Dupe exploit is smth developers of large games still struggle to patch and its one of the reasons why tradinh community died over the years especially mm2 . Its crazy how dupe exploiters can sell their duped items in blackmarket and potentially make 1000s of dollars via selling off site. Great video tho!
Great video! You missed the part where Axon got its source code leaked though. As it gave rise to free exploits suddenly having level 5 execution power. Which I think really contributed a lot to the FE incident
i remember as if it was yesterday.. sometimes the robloxian skyboxes wouldnt be as peaceful as they seemed.. sometimes abominations would appear, with unmeasurable power, but no real control over said power, only causing chaos for no real objective.. it was terrafying yet, fascinating, in a way. those who were spawned in worlds where knives rained, tell these stories, and the young robloxians dont believe them, thinking their world is safe nowadays, little do they know.. the gods only fell asleep.
I can explain the 2012 April fools hack. Apparently, there was a glitch (well not really) where you can enter the site tests of Roblox in 2012. You could sign up as an administrator account and actually access on to it on the main site, that hit took crazy and that is how to April fools hack was born. As an administrator, you could change anything literally almost anything. People found out quickly and started fooling around with the banners and admin accounts, and not to forget, the catalog. Well that's my explanation.
Now that Byfron is released I would add a new era named "The Byfron Era". A triple whammy marks the beginning of it (Script-Ware and Synapse-X both discontinuing, v3rmillion shutting down, and Byfron getting added to Roblox).
I miss the 2011 Toolbox DLL exploit. You could do ANYTHING. Insert entirely new models made out of scripting code. Any function as an ability. I above all miss the Jetpack script. It would give you a jetpack with a laser watch that could do ANYTHING. From grab to delete. It was so much fun in popular games. Like being a god in someone else's universe. I've been chasing that high since.

I'm sadly part of "The FE Period" but, I used to play a lot of old script builders or script fighting games such as W/D Script Fight, Script Fighting and Void's Script Builder. I know a lot of old scripts from the script builder era, which kinda mixed in with the rc7 and rc7 cracked era, since I see scripts such as ravenger claws and Nebula Star Glitcher in videos. I got interested a lot in old exploits specifically from the golden age, with RC7, Elysian, etc. I know a lot of these eras, I really like this video. I never had the chance to get exploits until the FE Period which was when I had a good computer, I really miss the FE Period now too, since of byfron, basically what I'm saying is that I'm from the modern era but know and like a lot of old things. Also, I remember there was a cheap exploit from the golden age that contained noob in it but I dont really remember the name of it, lol.
there was an rce exploit back in the 2007 client that allowed you to execute anything from someone's computer, grab their ip's, fill their computer with viruses, and i mean anything, but this was patched after the new clients rolled out, but some roblox revival multiplayer options still had this vulnerability if it was a 2006-2011 revival, fortunately it wasnt known about and not many people were affected, this is why you dont play roblox revivals
Really do miss the DLL injection and golden age eras. One thing I would have mentioned would be regular exploiting vs “Level 7” where you had unrestricted access to all Roblox’s locked Lua functions. Could have also mentioned things like place-stealers and Cheat Engine’s short time as a Lua injector as well.

3:47 There was a period of time where you could drag the toolbar of Studio inside the actual roblox player and have all the tools, no idea how they let that slip. I still have some videos on my channel back when I was a script kiddie showcasing basic noclip and speedhacks with Cheat Engine.
i made an exploit my self and how it was done is that i made a dll using c++ it was my dll not studios or something and then everytime i wanted to have my exploit working i just executed my dll into roblox client and it worked. Thats how i believe most exploits nowdays also work
@@nikos4677 No, someone else made the DLL, you just compiled it basically. There's only a handful of people who actually know Roblox and Lua enough to make an exploit.

I'm gonna be honest, my first exploit was jjsploit and that was during 2019, i remember trying to use exploits back in 2017 but never worked and almost got my pc destroyed by viruses, but i remember dreaming about doing the same thing "1x1x1x1" or as like editing the whole entire game, sadly my dream never got realized and to this day i still want to try that.

The thing that people dont get is that Tubers93 has actual knwoledge on hacking and just doesnt waits for someone to put a free model with a backdoor in a game, Tubers93 changed a game made by Fave, The thing here is to do this he would need to have access to Fave's account, but Fave's account has been banned for years meaning he cant just password guess it and get in, He needed to have access to the website's administrator privilegues to do this (Im refering to "Fave" and not "Faave").
Topk3k used to be a decent serverside, but it got pretty bad later on. (Topk3k is discontinued btw) imo if ur exploiting with a serverside I’d recommend Aurevo when it comes out or John Doe SS. Or just get access to a private serverside like Poseidon. (John Doe has had things such as find the markers, mad city, roblox got talent, r6 dances, meepcity and counter blox
i played in the golden days, but wish that i knew how to get an exploit like rc7, and try coding myself, but i have now learned most scripting in roblox, and it'd be way more fun to have more access as you said, still such a nostalgia, thanks for making this video, was really waiting on one about the exploit history
if not all, most of the SS scripts have been deleted or blocked, ive tried many games that are made specifically for executing SS scripts and all of the SS scripts ive saved are no longer usable.
It's sad to see Roblox are now taking action against serversides, Roblox terminate players which upload http request based modules (which serversides are based on). Plus, I've noticed they delete scripts which contain "getfenv or require"
The history of roblox exploits is quite interesting, but god damn are exploiters so frustrating. It really sucks that it's so easy to encounter an exploiter in a game, honestly just ruins my day.
I was going to point out some inconsistencies and say somewhat of the same thing this has already been done for me though as when it comes to older exploits. Your explanation on newer scripts and how they work was a little off, most scripts rarely use remote events and nowadays we take advantage of poor game design. High quality script development nowadays is mainly just a search, for some sort of issue we can abuse whether that be in the game, roblox’s internals, or even the executor itself. yeah, cuz a remote exploit wont work on everygame. I guess theres harked which uses a destroy remote, which itself is used on a lot of games, but still doesnt work on every game.
I used to exploit back in 2012, first found the cheat engine exploit through a UA-cam tutorial video with Skrillex playing in the background. The craziest exploit I remember from back in those days was a exploit where you could put two players names down and it would put them in a sex animation on loop lmao.
I wished I was able to be apart of the pre FE period it seemed so fun now you have to get a SS executer and even then you need to have a back door to even use the SS executor
pre-fe period was so insane you dont even know. back in 2016 I would load up a btools program that would attach itself to the roblox client and just delete everything in tons of games like lt2 and mad games. watching it affect everyone in the whole game was so fun and exciting. then they made all the games FE and there were still scripts you could use but they were all client sided but still did a lot of neat stuff. after byfron I havent been able to exploit a lot since synapsex became an exit scam pretty much.
tbh I totally forgot about that whole thing but I likely would've chosen to ignore it whilst making the video simply because its more of a sub-part rather than an overarching part of the history, i saw it used but it wasnt as monumental as some other important things during that era
I exploited with rc7 during the golden era, and only got my first warn like 2 years ago when I switched to Synapse (as rc7 got patched by FE). I stopped exploiting since then, not sure why it took so long to get noticed.
All this was ruined but some absolute weirdos had to take it too far and make sex scripts. But the writing was on the wall for a while everyone knew forced FE was coming.

Exploits have been defined as a form of cheating. Some exploits are in the form of programs or injectable DLL files, which explicitly break the Roblox TOS, and can lead to a permanent ban by Roblox. An example would be the popular "Hacking GUIs" in which many exploiting tools are put in the form of a GUI for the player. Other exploits take advantage of flaws in a game's scripts or building. A good example would be the infamous "Noclip" glitch in Jailbreak, where players take advantage of the crawl script and thin walls to get into otherwise inaccessible areas. Such exploits are not bannable by Roblox, but players caught doing this can be banned by a developer if the game has moderation infrastructure, like an admin script. Aimbots Aimbots are most common in many Major FPS games and are mainly a highlight of exploiters who use them. Aimbots are scripts which function in 2 ways, silently or blatantly. Silently refers to the script forcibly altering the hitbox of the weapon ammunition to better hit the target, while blatantly is your crosshair perfectly tracking. Silent Aimbot is usually used when trying to mask aimbotting as it has the ability of altering the range of its usage. These scripts usually will not work with games with a projectile based weapon system, however exploit developers may use trajectories to calculate where to hit. Infinite jumps Infinite Jumps are most uncommon hack if player is Infinite Jump similar to flying Anti-exploit scripts Anti-exploit scripts are scripts or plugins intended to mitigate or prevent exploiting. Sometimes, some exploiters manage to bypass it if they use the most advanced script (Example level 8 exploit). This is one of the hardest things to stop a strong exploiter. 17:42 for a brief time during 2022-2023 there was a fully confirmed FE bypass that of course did what you expected it to but now people dont know if its been patched or not since there are no more random occurrences also the recent rise of Net scripts that replicated the animations of famous scripts from the golden era came out that used your characters hats to act as accessories or weapons for the script and also the rise of netless when Net scripts were patched which used the vector function to more ir less do the same thing netless does still work all be it not as good as it used to be it's unfortunate really.

I can explain the 2012 April fools hack. Apparently, there was a glitch (well not really) where you can enter the site tests of Roblox in 2012. You could sign up as an administrator account and actually access on to it on the main site, that hit took crazy and that is how to April fools hack was born. As an administrator, you could change anything literally almost anything. People found out quickly and started fooling around with the banners and admin accounts, and not to forget, the catalog.
Well that's my explanation.
Now that Byfron is released I would add a new era named "The Byfron Era". A triple whammy marks the beginning of it (Script-Ware and Synapse-X both discontinuing, v3rmillion shutting down, and Byfron getting added to Roblox).

I miss the 2011 Toolbox DLL exploit. You could do ANYTHING. Insert entirely new models made out of scripting code. Any function as an ability. I above all miss the Jetpack script. It would give you a jetpack with a laser watch that could do ANYTHING. From grab to delete. It was so much fun in popular games. Like being a god in someone else's universe.

I'm sadly part of "The FE Period" but, I used to play a lot of old script builders or script fighting games such as W/D Script Fight, Script Fighting and Void's Script Builder. I know a lot of old scripts from the script builder era, which kinda mixed in with the rc7 and rc7 cracked era, since I see scripts such as ravenger claws and Nebula Star Glitcher in videos. I got interested a lot in old exploits specifically from the golden age, with RC7, Elysian, etc. I know a lot of these eras, I really like this video. I never had the chance to get exploits until the FE Period which was when I had a good computer, I really miss the FE Period now too, since of byfron, basically what I'm saying is that I'm from the modern era but know and like a lot of old things. Also, I remember there was a cheap exploit from the golden age that contained noob in it but I dont really remember the name of it, lol.
there was an rce exploit back in the 2007 client that allowed you to execute anything from someone's computer, grab their ip's, fill their computer with viruses, and i mean anything, but this was patched after the new clients rolled out, but some roblox revival multiplayer options still had this vulnerability if it was a 2006-2011 revival, fortunately it wasnt known about and not many people were affected, this is why you dont play roblox revivals

Really do miss the DLL injection and golden age eras. One thing I would have mentioned would be regular exploiting vs “Level 7” where you had unrestricted access to all Roblox’s locked Lua functions. Could have also mentioned things like place-stealers and Cheat Engine’s short time as a Lua injector as well.

3:47 There was a period of time where you could drag the toolbar of Studio inside the actual roblox player and have all the tools, no idea how they let that slip. I still have some videos on my channel back when I was a script kiddie showcasing basic noclip and speedhacks with Cheat Engine.

i made an exploit my self and how it was done is that i made a dll using c++ it was my dll not studios or something and then everytime i wanted to have my exploit working i just executed my dll into roblox client and it worked. Thats how i believe most exploits nowdays also work
@@nikos4677 No, someone else made the DLL, you just compiled it basically. There's only a handful of people who actually know Roblox and Lua enough to make an exploit.

the golden ages were the best man you can do anything you want and destroy the map and make everything chaotic it was funny ,now exploits now these days are mid or boring man I still exploit to get advantages but I miss those old days of spawning guns and exploding people and use titans and nuking the map it was fun.
The thing that people dont get is that Tubers93 has actual knwoledge on hacking and just doesnt waits for someone to put a free model with a backdoor in a game, Tubers93 changed a game made by Fave, The thing here is to do this he would need to have access to Fave's account, but Fave's account has been banned for years meaning he cant just password guess it and get in, He needed to have access to the website's administrator privilegues to do this (Im refering to "Fave" and not "Faave").

Topk3k used to be a decent serverside, but it got pretty bad later on. (Topk3k is discontinued btw) imo if ur exploiting with a serverside I’d recommend Aurevo when it comes out or John Doe SS. Or just get access to a private serverside like Poseidon. (John Doe has had things such as find the markers, mad city, roblox got talent, r6 dances, meepcity and counter blox

if not all, most of the SS scripts have been deleted or blocked, ive tried many games that are made specifically for executing SS scripts and all of the SS scripts ive saved are no longer usable.

It's sad to see Roblox are now taking action against serversides, Roblox terminate players which upload http request based modules (which serversides are based on). Plus, I've noticed they delete scripts which contain "getfenv or require"

I was going to point out some inconsistencies and say somewhat of the same thing this has already been done for me though as when it comes to older exploits. Your explanation on newer scripts and how they work was a little off, most scripts rarely use remote events and nowadays we take advantage of poor game design. High quality script development nowadays is mainly just a search, for some sort of issue we can abuse whether that be in the game, roblox’s internals, or even the executor itself.

yeah, cuz a remote exploit wont work on everygame. I guess theres harked which uses a destroy remote, which itself is used on a lot of games, but still doesnt work on every game.

Client Side can connect with RemoteEvent in game. If game has RemoteEvent or AdminPanel its so easy to connect remote.
I used to exploit back in 2012, first found the cheat engine exploit through a UA-cam tutorial video with Skrillex playing in the background. The craziest exploit I remember from back in those days was a exploit where you could put two players names down and it would put them in a sex animation on loop lmao.
This is weird, considering how Pinewood Computer Core exploits still are unfortunately successful at worst.

pre-fe period was so insane you dont even know. back in 2016 I would load up a btools program that would attach itself to the roblox client and just delete everything in tons of games like lt2 and mad games. watching it affect everyone in the whole game was so fun and exciting. then they made all the games FE and there were still scripts you could use but they were all client sided but still did a lot of neat stuff. after byfron I havent been able to exploit a lot since synapsex became an exit scam pretty much.

I exploited with rc7 during the golden era, and only got my first warn like 2 years ago when I switched to Synapse (as rc7 got patched by FE). I stopped exploiting since then, not sure why it took so long to get noticed.
All this was ruined but some absolute weirdos had to take it too far and make sex scripts. But the writing was on the wall for a while everyone knew forced FE was coming.
As a profesisonal exploiter,only the people watched this video or the ones know exploiters are not hackers will understand me when im explaining that exploiters are not hackers to people and thats hard sometimes

An exploit is the use of glitches and software vulnerabilities in Roblox by a player to alter the game or gameplay for an unfair advantage. Exploits have been defined as a form of cheating.
Some exploits are in the form of programs or injectable DLL files, which explicitly break the Roblox TOS, and can lead to a permanent ban by Roblox. An example would be the popular "Hacking GUIs" in which many exploiting tools are put in the form of a GUI for the player.
Other exploits take advantage of flaws in a game's scripts or building. A good example would be the infamous "Noclip" glitch in Jailbreak, where players take advantage of the crawl script and thin walls to get into otherwise inaccessible areas. Such exploits are not bannable by Roblox, but players caught doing this can be banned by a developer if the game has moderation infrastructure, like an admin script.
Many users believe that the correct term for programs that change Roblox for a player's advantage is “exploiting”, and others believe “hacking” is the correct term. However, hacking is the act of gaining unauthorized access to a system while exploiting is abusing a vulnerability to do the same.
Levels:
Levels are the Roblox Thread Identity that the script executed through the Roblox exploit is running. Normal LocalScripts run with Level 2, Roblox Scripts usually run with Level 3-4, the Command Bar on Roblox Studio runs with Level 5, and Plugins in Studio run in level 6. It is a common misconception that levels assosciate with how well an exploit is, but in reality, if you could already execute in Roblox, you could set the level. Most exploits run their scripts in Level 6 and intentionally downgrade their levels when calling certain functions in-game to avoid detection. Level 7 is an upper level that is commonly used in popular exploits. The last and most advanced exploit level is level 8. Scripts running on this scale have access to every function and therefore provide the most "freedom" to script developers.
Aimbots
Aimbots are most common in many Major FPS games and are mainly a highlight of exploiters who use them. Aimbots are scripts which function in 2 ways, silently or blatantly.
Silently refers to the script forcibly altering the hitbox of the weapon ammunition to better hit the target, while blatantly is your crosshair perfectly tracking. Silent Aimbot is usually used when trying to mask aimbotting as it has the ability of altering the range of its usage. These scripts usually will not work with games with a projectile based weapon system, however exploit developers may use trajectories to calculate where to hit. Smarter hackers will use hacks that aim for different parts of a body ( i.e. stomach ) so that they don't have suspicion raised from only head shots. Of course, it can be easy to see through them.

Infinite Jumps are most uncommon hack if player is Infinite Jump similar to flying
Anti-exploit scripts
Anti-exploit scripts are scripts or plugins intended to mitigate or prevent exploiting. These usually detect suspicious client behavior and then either kick or ban the suspicious user. Sometimes, some exploiters manage to bypass it if they use the most advanced script (Example level 8 exploit). This is one of the hardest things to stop a strong exploiter.
Anti-exploit groups
Since exploiters are too many, some groups have been built to stop the exploiters. This type of groups is called anti-exploit groups. One of the oldest anti-exploit groups is Anti-Hacking Assassins.

Some exploiters have inserted inappropriate models, decals, and sounds and used scripts to do inappropriate things to avatars in game, prompting concerns of parents when such exploits are exposed to children. The most severe case of this and exploits in general was on the 4th of July 2018 when two exploiters were doing strongly inappropriate actions to a 7-year-old girl's avatar. This incident was featured heavily on several news websites, leading to Roblox permanently banning the exploiters and applying restrictions to Experimental Mode games (see Experimental Mode game restrictions for more info).[3][4] Please note that antiviruses find exploits as a malware. Exploits are viruses on certain cases and others not, they slow down devices if executed.

but now people dont know if its been patched or not since there are no more random occurrences
also the recent rise of Net scripts that replicated the animations of famous scripts from the golden era came out that used your characters hats to act as accessories or weapons for the script
and also the rise of netless when Net scripts were patched which used the vector function to more ir less do the same thing
