Very balanced review of a good but not great bike as pointed out. I think the Geurilla 450 is the magic box trick in the entire RE lineup! Wish only it had a twin cylinder engine; I would easily put my money on it! After riding a twin cylinder engined bike I just cannot imagine myself going on a single!

I'm always looking forward to your bike reviews because I'm also 6'1" and I get a good idea about how I'll look on a particular bike, just by looking at you. 😅 Of all the 650s by RE, this one I like the most. So much so that I'm willing to live with the stiff rear suspension. I'm sure some solution will come out in future for that.

Rishad is the only reviewer speaking about how close is the footrest to the engine on the right side. Even in the video footage, he is keeping his right foot on the corner of the footrest and the trouser is touching the engine quite comfortably. If this is not a design error, then what is!! The bigger the boot you wear, the more the changes of rubbing on to the hot engine!
The only thing stopping it from being a great bike is the rear suspension which can be easily swapped. And it’ll still be cheaper than its competitors.
I got mine on Dec 1. I'm guessing the first in delhi ncr. Love the way this bike handles and the sheer power. The rear suspension is a pain though. Love the tall and wide seating posture. The exhaust has a sweet Triumph street triple R type whistle
As long as you are in open stretches Bear shows it's true color. Completely carefree, nimble, powerful and so smooth. I hate taking her in bumper to bumper traffic conditions. Due to stiff suspension my pillions so far have not enjoyed their ride. The acceleration and torque just puts a smile on your face. @@ytenjoyer13
My rear suspension was set to the lowest level it used to bottom out even on small bumps I set it to the third last position and it’s way more comfortable

I have tested the Bear 650 in the city for quite a long duration. The clutch is the heaviest amongst all the motorcycles I've ridden so far, I literally felt the weight of the motorcycle almost all the time while riding. These two pints are enough for me not to go for this one. I have ridden the Goldstar 650, too, though not being of the same category of a scrambler. The BSA is nimble, agile, the clutch is lighter, and the seating posture is too comfortable. I'm not biased while writing this comment to any of the brands. Just the thing is that the Bear 650 is only aesthetically scramblerish for me. Do let me know your opinions, guys!
the side plate which has the 249 is made of plastic and not metal. surprising how RE can even think of doing such cheap antics in such an expensive bike.
the reviews I always check for bikes is particular to seat height and according to me 5'6", upto 800m is good which Indian bike manufacturers should consider.
Suspension, they just lost half their market base. Forget off-road riding. India is literally off-road, can somebody explain why SUV's do soo well here. Just for the sake of having the 650 engine, lol. When it the Himalayan 650 launching? I still want that 650, but in a Himalayan, common do it already.
You forgot to mention a few things like how the 2 Kgs less makes no difference from Interceptor. I have made a video on my channel for my Bear650. You can check it.
I own the shotgun and it is so hard in the suspension that i cant use my Custom- or what its called Premium/Signature Seat. I use the normal seat , cause it is a little bit softer. But newsuspension costs 1000 Euro with installation and thats really too much. I hope the Bear is in a okay way to use it without thinking everytime changing the suspension. A great bike, but i dont want a hard bike anymore. The classic 350 was sooo much fun, but looks like my grandpa

Every new launches from RE is ending with same quote "It's a good bike but it has potential to be a great one". Seriously RE ?? Suspension center in Spain where some of the nicest roads rests.. Even when 90% of the revenue is from India, at the end just for Globalization and trying to get a tag of Global Brand they are ready to dump us. Seriously RE please consider it as an indication to think about your customers and be a brand which can deliver not only Good but great options out there. Yes Exception is there like Himalayan, classic but do they really think cracking 1 or 2 out of 13 would be sign to become a GLOBAL brand?
Why are you so worked up about where RE sets up its testing centers or global operations? If you like the bike, just buy it and ride. It's not your job to manage their business strategy. RE doesn't need your approval to expand globally or set up in Spain. Stop overanalyzing and go enjoy the roads instead of crying about their choices 😵💫😵💫

The 650 series is designed for the international market where most of their sales happen. The 350 series is for the Indian market where most of the sales happen. Indians don't buy these high end bikes so they design it for good roads which are lacking in India.

Sad fact is that none of the 650's got a well balanced suspension setup. For Inty, the front is bad, for meteor, shotgun and Bear the rear is bad. Looks like RE is leaving some loose ends with each bike so that they do not cannibalize each other.
If you are a big guy(physically) then riding on a Husqvarna will make you look like a clown. As it is a smaller bike there is also less pillion space and luggage space if you intent to tour. But if you are an average guy and planning to stay in the urban areas then Husqvarna might be for you.
Am I the only one still rocking the Classic 500? And honestly, who cares where RE's testing their suspension in Spain? I just need a bike to ride. Company stuff and money don't matter to me 😵💫
Well RE is an Indian company so we Indians would hope the bike can tackle our bad roads. But since it was not designed here it's back breaking on our bad roads.

@JrFarren_ You can't really adjust the suspension without affecting the dynamics of the bike. More expensive bikes have built in adjustable suspension to tailor the ride to your tastes
I hear a lot of flak for Enfield Bear. Weight, suspension etc. my two bits. RE is making inroads in global markets at a competitive cost. Their novelty is classic design, great build and decent engine at that price. Also as an international brand, they are targeting niche audience - well built riders, good roads etc, because they can and want to increase their base. not everything can be seen from an Indian perspective only! I am 6’5 100 kg guy in India. I struggled to find a single bike suitable for me. Light, small bikes with soft suspensions never suited me for obvious reasons. My back would hurt after a mediocre ride too. The only alternative - buy expensive foreign bikes for exorbitant amount. So if RE is producing a niche bike for someone like me (or any heavy built, decently tall guy) I don’t see a problem! Scrambler or not, I don’t care….

Tbh this is too heavy bike and most imp RE doesn't even know how to do weight balancing so atleast it feels light. RE should learn from Honda for this I had tried CB350 Hyness and it's soo well balanced...

The yss improves it, but don’t expect too much. It’s good for rough roads, but bumps and potholes are still unbearable on my Inty.

90% of Market share is India. The rear suspension is really bad. I think it's due to some regulations in Europe.
