I appreciate a video like this. I’m currently 22 and am in my senior year of college. Not that I ever feel depressed at all, but I do worry about my future. Next year I’ll be out in the real world looking for a job in my field (which is business and marketing) so it’s good to know that everything will eventually work out if I work hard enough. I'll latch onto your idea about the world not caring and put my own perspective on it. Not only does the world not care. The universe does not care. The universe is chaos and unfeeling. It does not know you or owe you anything. It will not change because you had a bad day. It will not console you when you're down. You can keep falling deeper and deeper into a pit and time will keep marching on in it's mathematical beat.
You have to care. You have to interpret meaning out of the chaos and void. Your actions matter. Meditate and focus on the here and now, the situation you're currently in, take a deep breathe and feel the air fill your lungs, recognize that in this blink of existence you are here and you are the master of your domain. Recognize that you are the one who breathed. You are in control. Take this se awareness and extend your hand and take control of your life. Literally extend your hand and make the choice. Idk if anyone is going to read all of this but I just wanna say how real this video is. I’m 20 years old and I’ve been out of high school for about 2 years and I had to grind in order to graduate just to make it out and after that I figured now all I got is time to rest and relax…little did ik shit would hit the fan the summer I turned 19 and graduated. My family is in a spot and it hindered me ever getting a job straight out of school and after awhile my mental hearth plummeted and I’m nowhere. Right now I have no clear direction in life but I’m doing things and getting little victories each day…ik there will be better days at some point. It’s true tho no one really cares at all unless you elevate yourself. If you got family and money good for you use that to benefit but if you don’t just hope you have a family that’s is willing to help you thru your situation. If not all that then you’re literally going to have to Throw yourself into the world and just succeed.
Edit: I’m taking little steps that I can to better my life and when this stuff with my family is over or around that time I’m join the military for a bit to really establish something for my future

I get your point brother, but what's the point of being part of the competitive dynamic? You're the only one who need to validate your work and worth. There'll always be somebody better than you. I know there's a big burden on us men but the more we savor into the standard of society and competitiveness in the name of survival, the more we lose sanity. Stay safe and focused!
I’ve decided to be part of the competitive dynamic. When I die I want to have lived a great life and leave a legacy behind. Only way to do that is to compete.
U can choose to not be competitive, but you won’t achieve anything worthwhile in life.
Mediocre career, mediocre wife, mediocre life etc. in order to be great, u have to compete against other men.
the definition of something "worthy" is subjective. I'd rather live somewhat low profile life where I'm financially stable to do things that'll keep me grounded. But If that competitiveness is what pushes you to do more, be better version of yourself, I'm glad that's what keeps you thriving. At the end of the day, what matters is your happiness and what motivates you.
