Thought you guys were smart.. jovic next to bam makes more sense. He’s 6’10 Shoot the ball can rebound can pass, plus if Miami is going against teams that have centers that cannot score you can have him guard them and let bam roam
I thought ware was going to be your defensive choice. If it were up to me I’d go with ware & bam line up so by end season they’ll have plenty of time together ready for the playoffs. But if it’s not ware, I’d go with highsmith because he is the best defender & aside from a bad stretch last season he’s usually a solid 3 point shooter. I’m not sold on niko until he becomes an absolute sniper from 3. Rn when niko shoots your iffy on if it’s going to go in or not. But again, my choice would be bam & ware 💪

5th Starter has to be someone that doesn’t need the ball to be impactful. Terry, Herro, Butler, and even Bam (to an extent) all need the ball. I’m leaning more towards either Ware or Highsmith.

Even if Ware turns out to be a starting level center (not sure if that would be the case this early in his career), I think having Ware as an effective backup 5 (for lack of a good option for that spot) is a bigger boost to the team than starting him with Bam. Undersized or not, Bam is still a Top 5 center in the league. That doesn't mean that there couldn't be lineups where they do play together but I'd rather have another good big to pick up the slack for the team when Bam sits.
At the very least I'd rather give Ware time to get used to NBA bags before thinking about starting him.
I'd go with Terry, Highsmith, Jimmy, Jovic, and Bam.
@@JulberPajares4 I was thinking that exact line but I was leaning more towards Highsmith at SG to provide backcourt defense and spot up shooting and let Terry JJJ Duncan and Jovic fight over 6th man 😂 also I believe Johnson is going to be a huge Factor maybe at PF

Yeah, this makes the most sense on paper IMO. At least 3 shooters in Terry, Highsmith and Jovic, and 3 great defenders in Jimmy, Bam, and Highsmith (Jovic was actually not bad on that end in the 2nd half of the season).
I think it can work.
Ware will eventually be a good player..but bigs take longer...not expecting much from him...Losing Caleb Martin will turn out to be a much biiger loss than expected...some vets are just getting older and even more injury prone...the big question will be JB's play...not exactly a young player anymore....I have a feeling that this is going to be a very rough year...ultimatley having the Heat Tank...and playing the youngsters more...Top 7 in East is real...ATL will be alot better as well...Play-in or tank...I would take the tank all day long if it comes to that! Teams in the 9-10 spots just get the chance to be crushed by the Celtics...if not a top 6...no real chance!

Rozier, Herro, JB, Niko, Bam. Niko is a great 3 PT shooter, so he doesnt need the ball necessarily. They need that scoring punch from Triple J off the bench.

I'm with you, but Ware is not ready and won't be ready at the start of the season. What will be a good sign is if Ware can take the back up starter minutes from Love. Then, once he holds his own against backup centers, he will be ready to start.

How many more years Heat fans have to wait for the flowers to bloom? Triple J, Jovic, Smith? Trash. Maximum 8 points a game. Tyler will play 48 games in the regular season. Jimmy is also less than 50 games. Same old movie over and over again. Old sleepy Pat needs to fire himself. Cheep ownership needs to go. New owner needed. Eric Spo needs to go back to school and learn how to create offense. Miami team will not make the playoffs this year. Max 38 win season.
