Any strings CAN be combined, but what the reason of this combination? IMHO, BG 65 should close to completely discard all of adventages you can gain from UM. I'll recomend to look for the 0,68 strings for the base. If you looking for durability, anyway UM should lost it tension and integrity faster then brandnamed 0,68 string (maybe you can find the exclusion, but i dont know it)
you can string racket more than +2 lbs of its recomended tension :) thats only cause the bigger risk of the frame distortion and breaking in the game (so, its out of warranty). But risk is real only if you miss the sweetspot or if you clash the racket by others or floor (what is really rare in pro games). Many pro players stringing at +6-10lbs, and sometimes you can see frame distortion after power hit. But the cost of the point for pro player is much higher, than a cost of the racket ;)

Actually the stringer will be recomend the cross is more bigger tension than the main, idk why. For example:
Main 28lbs
Cross 30lbs

Because it is a recommend not max tension. Most of high end racket can hold up to 32-35lbs. Just more risk to break he racket.
