The idea for the episode Deep Mudd is good. You got Kirk and crew fighting it out with Harry and company in what else in mud and are victorious in the end. I would change the title to "In Deep Mudd."
I agree ;)
Live long and prosper TriAngulum!
I think I saw a glimmer of Deep Mudd in the Star Trek: 25th Anniversary game. Mudd is on an ancient ship full of tech he doesn't understand. But when you combined a harmless ancient lens with a harmless handheld device, it became a powerful weapon and suddenly you realized Mudd knew more then he let on.
I wouldn't mind seeing you do a video on the rejected stories and scripts for Phase II and The Next Generation, as well! 🖖😎👍
One of my drives physically crashed a couple months ago so I have been trying to reconstruct what was lost. And I had a lot of your vids downloaded. They are soo great! Thanks for re-uploading this.
Someone should buy the rights to these old ideas (unless they are held jealously by the studio) and develop them into stories. If not full length novels, at least a collection of short stories or novellas.
While not all are stellar (no pun intended), some are quite interesting.
I would like to see untold stories for TNG, DS9, V, and Enterprise, please.
If the rights could be secured. A series of books publishing these scripts would sell out instantly.❤❤❤
The Joy Machine was adapted to a a novel by James Gunn as the Screenplay was written by Theodore Sturgeon. It's very sad that hey final episode filmed was Turnabout Intruder. Bother The Joy Machine and The Godhead would have give the 3rd Season a better reputation.
🖖😎👍Very cool and very nicely well done and very well executed and informatively explained in every detail way shape and form provided on this format and subject matter on the various Startrek episodes that never made it in to the original series and that segments of them were used in various other episodes, Very nicely well done indeed Sir!👌.
If there was animated anthology of these lost episodes of Star Trek, the TOS era would be the first season.
I found this particular video quite interesting. It would have been very nice to see these episodes that were never aired come to fruition.
The only thing that I have a little bit of concern with would be the bandi episode. Somehow I have a hard time coming to grips with Spock actually killing anything. A computer, yes. But another life form? I'm not sure that that would be in his character. I think he could use his knowledge and logic to find another solution other than killing a life form.
I feel quite certain in saying that Gene would not have perceived the character of Spock as one who would kill another life form.
THANK YOU!!
You're welcome!
love the channel have you thought about doing a video of what the Kelven timeline ships would look like tos style
I would love to see that!
Yes. ❤
Some very interesting and fascinating ideas.
I know right?
George Clayton Johnson was my mentor for writing science fiction. He used to have a science fiction creative writing class in Burbank, that I used to attend years ago before he died. He told me about Chicago II (aka "A Piece of the Action.")
very nice infromtion video
Many many thanks!!!
No Problem
7:44 I'm thinking maybe that set was the town of Mayberry from the Andy Griffith Show?
It was the Paramount MGM Main Street lot seen a million times, just redressed!
@@nicholasklangos9704 Oh ok. Thank you so much for answering!
🖖
ty for the hidden truth of star trek!
Hey can you break down the Fortitude class? Howard Day just released it and I think it’s looks awesome
BANDI was explained in David Gerrold's book, THE TROUBLE WITH TRIBBLES, about the writer and his introduction and work on the series. As for DEEP MUDD, I'm kind of glad that it wasn't made, since it gave J.A. Lawrence the chance to do a long, original novella about Harry Mudd escaping in a much better way from the android planet ( by turning the planet into his own business empire and turning all the android Stellas into starships for his business. ), in THE BUSINESS, AS USUAL, DURING ALTERCATIONS in the book MUDD'S ANGELS.
I agree with you about that J A Lawrence Mudd novel! David Gerrold also wrote in the Tribbles book, that he pitched another story if I remember right was called The Fractured Man. About a test pilot who is split into multiple dimensions while the producers liked the concept its effects would have been too expensive for the times.
You should write for Trek. Maybe you could make it good again.
I like the universe Gene Roddenberry made, but I can say that Gene Roddenberry was a person ignorant of reality. Even if Humanity and the Federation became a peaceful utopia with no need, want, or war, it does not mean the rest of the galaxy is the same. The Federation, with its constant, endless, expansion will meet another who will not meet those perfect ideas, will have a problem with such expansion, and will require the Federation to alter itself to counter them. Adapt or die.
If David Gerrold hated the name Bandi, how did it end up the TNG pilot when he was an associate producer. Also, isn't the plot of "Our Near Future" kind of what the producers of current Trek did with Christopher Pike?
Because he wasnt the Show Runner OR Executive Producer? He was too low on the Pecking order! And no, not in the slightest really...
@@TriAngulumStudiosAudioComics As I recall, Pike is shown his fate and has to decide whether to try to change it or just go on living the best he can during the first season of Strange New Worlds.
Only superficially!
