Great video Cleggy, crazy to find that buckle and that plate! Good win!
Thanks 👍
Awesome day Cleggy, your videos take us deep in the hole for a fantastic search , without getting mud on our hands😊
Nice to see all your finds on the weekend at the village day!
Thanks 👍
Some great finds, Cleggy.
Roman double headed dagger pommel, I reakon. Great hunt cleggy.
Thanks Clem 👍
Nice big silver,and buckle Cleggy!!!
WOW!!! Good stuff Sir. Congratulations and thanks for sharing!
Great hunt my man. That dagger pommel was epic.
Thanks 👍
The knife is interesting. There are different tang lengths. A short tang like that will break easier with a wooden handle. Keep on being you.
Really good finds, epic day👍
Glad you enjoyed
Cracking work Cleggy 👍🍻
Thanks 👍
7:45 Hi Craig. Looks like a Dagger Chape. You have a Strap End Buckle and the plates are rectangular so could be there somewhere! Maybe the dagger is there also!
Thanks 👍
Your right it looks like a Dagger Chape, I checked the database
Pretty sure that object 10:30 is a sword pommel! A antropomorphic pommel with 2 faces on it! Great find!!! 👍🤩
Great finds, my mate has an identical pommel found north Glos, so could be made locally, what you thought was a buckle plate could be a sword chape 👍
The blade with the 2 rivets is a putty knife for chopping out old hard putty in old windows.
Thanks 👍
The shotgun shell looks like a Kynoch no. 12 Grouse Ejector 1898?
Well done! 👍👍👍
Thank you! 👍
Some nice finds and a bit of kack well done
Thanks 👍
Nice work.
Could you please do more videos using the Lorenz
Yes I will
Grate finds Cleggy.👍😁

Thank you! 👍
Whitehead No.187 pointed plate 1250-1400 is close, worth a trip out. 👍
Thanks for the info!
Dagger Pommel maybe, looks like two faces.?
Thank you! 👍
Would somebody PLEASE get this man a hand trowel?
Interesting when you go back! Probably more deeper, made me laugh when you put the buckle to the chape 😅 your back put you off your I’d
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice finds 👌
Kynoch is a maker of Ammo / Shotgun Cartridges(well said @flint-1)in Aston, Birmingham, a very large area with many and various manufacturing plants. I did various design contracts there in 1965, including working on minting press design for 10 & 25centavo coins.
What a days detecting 🤩
Thanks 👍
Lower back pain. I feel your pain
Here in lake District there's million,s of old shot gun cartridges, every signal is 99% one drives u mad 😢
Best day you've had in a while. Congratulations
Fantastic video again my lovers
Hello Clegg what you have found next to the buckle is not the buckle plate but a dagger or sword sheath bouterole
CONGRATULATIONS! THAT is the pommel off of a Bollacks Dagger!
No question about it.
How did you predict that?!
Thank you! 👍
I'd say that's a dagger chape not a buckle plate 😯
Yep Spot on
Your First find the shotgun head stamp is from 1898
Buckle plate? Maybe strap end.
What happened about the back Ache ? Did it ease off ?
Thanks for your concern! It's all good now.
It looks like Cleggy got himself a "wayback machine" from the Professor Peabody and Sherman. Cheers
That to me looks like a sword/dagger chape, not a buckle plate
Dagger pommel I'm guessing.
Thanks 👍
Great haircut. Good length for you.
Thank you!
Putin is One of a Kind 👍
