In a sunny Greek village, by the azure sea so grand,
We gather with joy, let's give it a hand!
It's a holiday, folks, with laughter and cheer,
So let's dance the Sirtaki, Zorba's dance is here!
The bouzouki strikes up, the rhythm takes hold,
Young and old together, stories unfold.
With arms linked in line, we step to the beat,
Tap, tap, and shuffle, oh, isn't it sweet?
One step to the left, and then to the right,
Feet flying like birds, oh what a sight!
With a hop and a skip, and a twirl around,
The spirit of Zorba, in us, is found.
Laughter echoes as we stumble and fall,
But who cares, we're together, and that's worth it all!
The pace gets faster, the excitement grows,
With every movement, the happiness shows.
The moonlight glimmers on faces so bright,
Dancing together, we celebrate tonight.
For in every step, there's freedom and glee,
Zorba's Dance, oh, how it sets our hearts free!
So here's to the holidays, to joy and to chance,
To friends, to family, and Zorba's grand dance!
May your days be merry, your troubles be light,
And may we always find reasons to dance in the night!
