Hallo! Itterween @ Gemeente Spookdal.
At Itterween, the spookiest town,
The pumpkins grinned and goblins frowned.
Preparing for Halloween’s grand show,
Where things get weird, you know, you know!
Old Mrs. Batts was hanging lights,
Except her bats took off in flight!
The skeleton crew was setting up,
But lost their bones-now that’s tough luck!
The witches brewed a cauldron stew,
But turned it into pumpkin goo.
The ghosts all tried to haunt the trees,
But ended up just blowing leaves!
Young Timmy carved his pumpkin’s face,
But somehow carved a flying ace!
The werewolves trimmed the spooky hedge,
While howling, “Careful near the edge!”
Then came the night, the big parade,
With costumes that the town had made.
A zombie cheerleader, monster chef,
And Dracula forgot his fangs-what theft!
So Itterween, with quirky flair,
Had Halloween beyond compare!
Not everything went quite as planned,
But that’s what makes it truly grand!
