I’ve watch his whole Drumeo performance 3 times now. Twice on Drumeo and now you’re reaction video. And still it never gets old watching him play. I don’t even play drums. He’s such a monster player, so cymbal heavy, yet so smooth. It’s amazing to watch greatness. He will win drummer of the year for sure. Once he said Abe from Deftones I now here a lot of the Deftones grooves in Sleep Token.

I started listening to Sleep Token earlier this year and im entranced by their music. I'm pretty sure after listening to II's drums from all of the tracks kind of changed how i listen to music in general. Because of him, I started to pay more attention to drums in songs. Now, i definitely would love a song if they have an interesting drums lol.
I like how II's able to blend a lot of genre into his playing and what i appreciate the most is how he knows when to pull back and when to go ham. It makes the song feels much more engaging and interesting because of the build up-tear down-build up-tear down cycle instead of the more usual gradually only builds up to the climax of the song and only pull back on the ending of the song.
p.s: II's a short guy haha, probably like 5'5 or 5'6 from pics? his kit is so tight its insane

@ArturoReacts for sure! Sleep Token's songs aren't for everybody, but i think everyone can appreciate the musicality and the talent in their music. He and Vessel is insane in the best way, it's like they both are so in tune with each other's creative goals
If you haven't listen to The Police & old songs from Sting. They mostly had interesting drums
