It's a real improvement although I think the back looks a lot better than the previous version. And yeah it's sad that we didn't get to see inside but tbh idk if people can be trusted on that.
@@WT2K24 yeah. ADL backs were never that good imo. The E400 looks weird, the MMC has too much black and the original E400 EV was just plain ugly. The E200s are ok though
I like the new E400EVs, they look so nice and they resemble the MMCs and the actual E400 so much. I wish these were ordered for the 333 at GAL instead of City Ees as the Ees will just pretty much resemble the HAs that the 333 had. I hope GAL gets these for the 99/269/401 as well as the 88 and 188, GAL should get these for the 101, 171/172 and 321 as well rather than the horrific BYD BD11s and Ees. I’m glad these are going on the SL3. I hope to see Go Ahead, Stagecoach and Arriva order these for their routes. It’s crazy that the 242 still hasn’t gotten its Electroliners yet, HK is basically following the footsteps of PV and TH in a long wait for electrification though TH has become faster than HK and PV.
I don't think they really resembe the E400s but they certainly do look like the MMCs. And yeah hopefully we'll see GAL move away from BYD (but tbh that BD11 is starting to grow on me). Don't forget WJ too, that's been taking a while. I can't believe there haven't been any BZLs on the 187 yet, it's crazy how slow it's been
@@ik.ldn1possibly but the 88 can’t take 10.9m vehicles as the BD11s are that length. I can see the 88 getting the new E400EV or if GAL decide to follow RATP’s footsteps in going for Electroliners then I could see Electroliners ordered for the 22, 88 and 151 etc and potentially the 99 too.
@@MostlyBuses1WJ have been taking a while, the 206 is still using VMH2543 which hasn’t been replaced by the new BDE. Don’t get why the 206 can’t be decked fully as it’s busy but the 316 needs deckers urgently, the 10.8m MMCs and E200s it uses are always packed to the brim. It’ll be good to see the singular BDE appear on the 28 from time to time as VMH2543 has only done the 28 once since its come to WJ and I believe it isn’t blinded. If the 206’s BDE appear on the 28, then would make the 28 one of the routes to have seen 2 different E400EV Cities under 2 companies, RATP and Metroline much like how the 133 has seen 2 different Electroliners under 2 companies, Arriva and Abellio.
About the 333 not sure why Stockwell are taking this long, 262 literally got its batch before it and that was about 3 months ago, AL should’ve bidded for the 333 instead of SW it would have their buses by now. Wrightbus seem to deliver their buses faster than ADL, I still hope GAL order both models though (Electroliner and E400EV). Yeah HK are taking very long, those 242 electroliners might aswell go on another route untill HK are ready instead of them just sitting at the garage collecting dust same as the BZLs for 277 and D7, Let’s just hope the electrification dosent take as long as TH, WK(235) and PV.

The mmc is the previous version. But London used the city variant more.

most likely 88 is getting BD11s. 129 and Sl4 have been confirmed
