    Spike and Randy............It’s obvious from our videos that Zach, Nathan and I have a lot of fun and a deep appreciation and passion for these pieces of ancient history!! But I must say it was an absolute pleasure hosting you fellas at the ridge for a spectacular day of artifact hunting!!! Sharing this with a couple of friends who have the same passion and experience the same excitement from unearthing these relics is priceless and we want to thank you guys for this remarkable video and an all around fantastic time!! Randy, the glamour shots are beautiful and spike, you are a wizard of videography sir!!!!! The time and effort you put into your work shows in every vid you post!! God bless you guys and we can’t wait to share another adventure!! Best to you two!!!!

      Mike, I can assure you the pleasure was all ours. We can't thank yall enough for having us over to hunt with you in one of the hottest sites I've seen. Nathan said it best when he said it was about the fellowship more than it was about the artifacts. He is absolutely correct. I would come back again even if we didn't do any hunting and and all we did was just set around and tell stories. Of course we were also thrilled for the opportunity to get the footage for another great video. Thank you so much for the kind words concerning our video production. It is another passion of ours and a labour of love. I blushed a little with such a compliment but to tell you the truth, I loved hearing it. If you liked the video then I am happy. Randy is working on the get together for this fall and so far everyone seems to be excited about it. Again, thank yall for everything and we too can't wait till next time. GL&HH my friends.

    Thanks for another great video and for introducing us to Pine Belt Relics. I always enjoy y’all. I live up a bit further north of y’all and am waiting on the creeks to drop a bit from all the rain we’ve had so I can get back to searching. Looking forward to your next video.

    What a great day! Your friend Zach was in a honey hole! I just started watching videos about arrowhead hunting & I found your channel, Love it!!
    I’m a shed antler hunter and I get the same rush you guys do when you find a arrowhead!! Not to mention you guys have just as much fun!! I would love to try finding arrowheads but I have a lot to learn, i did notice it’s the same as shed antler hunting in one aspect....
    there’s always someone in the group that seems to have all the luck!!
    Congratulations on the great finds!!
    I’m a fan:)

      @HeartbreakerRelics  7 років тому +1

      Thanks for watching and for the great comment. I watch a lot of shed hunting videos and i just made myself a note to check out your channel. I would love to do some of that but the terrain our whitetails live in is pretty rugged plus most of my time is spent relic hunting but I sure like to watch you guys find them. I have found a few whitetail sheds while hunting though. You right. There is always someone with all the luck on any trip but as long as someone is finding them we're happy. Good luck on your shed hunting and give the arrowhead hunting a try. You'll love it. Thanks again and GL&HH

    The main thing I 👀 see is you guys having fun together with out err. I am happy to see it. The people who made the tools you seek as well had peace with one another, providing for eachother's lives with those tools.
    Everyone in the tribes provided fir the whole tribe every morning when they get up. If you were all camping, and Zechariah catches all the fish, you still gonna eat, when Michael puts wood on the fire he does that for THE WHOLE CAMP, just as the trees provide for the WHOLE. So it was for true people of this land. Now it's every man for himself living the American dream, well them fellows dreaming are still asleep. Thanks for the great time, I felt like part of the family 🌹 🌹's tobyou all Pearce unto you

    Take you a flat tip screwdriver with a solid handle and a stiff shank and dig with that. You have less chance of breaking points that way. Just started watching yall a few days ago lots of woodland points at this site. I dig mostly overhangs. Found 2 daltons today and a calf creek yesterday. I'd love to have some creeks like you guys do but they never lived close enough to the creeks here to have points in em. And the places they actually did is national park property and they'll throw you under the jail for that.

    I never dig. All my finds are surface finds on the shore here in Maine. What little I have dug I have used a piece of hardwood, in my case I had teak, approximately 5/16 inch sharpened to a pencil point. It's the best thing going. Good luck. Get rid of the metal digging utensils please. Try it out it works great! I hear guys praying to the great spirit. That's wrong. There are seven spirits. The Spirit of the north, the spirit of the south, the spirit of the east, the spirit of the west, the spirit above, the spirit below, anf the spirit all around. May they all be with you. Don't forget to pray to them, and thank them, give them an offering. I give whatever I have with me. I give drink smoke and food. If I have a sandwich, I make sure I offer a piece of everything in it. Before I look I sit and pray to them.

    • @HeartbreakerRelics
      @HeartbreakerRelics  7 років тому +2

      Ok. Here are a few tips:
      1. Look for high ground just out of the floodplain if not plowed checked for gullies or washes with bare ground. Once you find bare ground look for debitage (chips or flakes of broken flint or chert). If this stuff is present you are on a site. If you find larger worked pieces that is even more proof.
      2. Look for hard bottom creeks or streams with pockets of gravel or stone. Where there is much gravel look closely for work material (stones that have been flaked).
      3. Sift the pockets of gravel through a shaker or sifter taking care to look closely for chips flakes or ultimately tools and points.
      Here is a couple links to some videos that may help.

      The Creaux I'm sorry. I missed the point where you said you were in Pearl River county. The old timers are right. You are in prime arrowhead country up there. They are right about the Wolf River too. Another great place I have found them in the past is along Hobolochitta creek. If you have access to any of the hunting leases along there would be another great place to start. Good luck and happy hunting.
