hear it calling? the grodes hail from tucson, arizona, with members manny freiser on guitar, dale smith on guitar, rick cota-robles on bass, rick lust on keyboard, and john lee white on drums. they were also called the tongues of truth, and they are best known for their song “let’s talk about girls,” which was covered by the chocolate watchband later. this is the b-side to “love is a sad song” on rally records. what do you think this song is about? this may seem a little morbid, but i think the “call” that is being heard is an untimely death, possibly by their own hand. but let me know your thoughts!

Somehow I knew you'd find this song or should I say late night cruiser. This melodic sad song took my mind to a distant place. Where? I didn't know, but it took me far away from today.

@@thomassmith8721 Hi my good buddy.Yeah this was a track that made you want to find a parking place Switch the motor off and have a good CRY.Carefree days for sure but living in a trailer dealing with the harsh weather with very little money tracks such as this fitted the mood perfectly!!!. A far cry from Santa Monica/ Pacific Sunset Records.Emma puts out some great tracks for sure!.
I have another story of a meeting with a Celebrity actress but as I was only 18 months old it's one I don't recall.Namely the Actress Margaret Lockwood and her daughter Julia( also 18 months old). Julia made a record in 72 which I have.Sadly passed away 5 years ago .Do you remember either of them?. Cheers me mate.Rog( sir).
