- It's been over a year since i biked this route last • POV bike ride in Voss ...
This time I stop by Mjølfjell station to watch @RailCowGirl 's
co-worker meet a local passengerservice from Vy at the station.
I also pop by a scary house :O

Rode this so beautiful railway from Oslo to Bergen several times in winter with a lot of snow - 6 or 7 hours filled with beautiful landscapes; I love it ... 😀

Look like a cold rainy day that day on your bike ride. But something about Autumn in Norway is very beautiful even with the cloudy day you had on the filming. Hope you had a jacket!

Thoroughly enjoyed that. Ive watched all of railcowgirls vids and my fave route is Myrdal to Voss. So its nice to see pretty much the same journey from the road. Thank you.

@@norwegianslowtv9689 That abounded building you went in, do you know what it was used for? to me it looks like a small hall that put on some sort of show as that looks like stage, and are those spotlights on the celling?
@@KMpugless That building is what we call "grendahus" or "samfunnshus" in Norwegian. According to Google translate it is a community center. Buildings like this was very common in the Norwegian countryside back in the days and was a place for events and gatherings like dancing, weddings birthdays and partying in general. These houses was owned and maintained by the locals for the most part. As you can see the building hasn't been used or maintained since the early 90's judging by the curtains and other items. Many houses like this share this destiny sadly. There simply isn't enough interest or spirit of service in the few people that are left in the countryside.
I'm glad the UA-cam algorithm recommended this after I watched Railcowgirl's videos. It is really cool to see the Bergen Line from a new perspective. I wonder if you could get a drone to follow you as you ride for some epic shots from the sky.
