Alot of people missed this but this is the same stone that Sojo gave some random Yakuza in chapter 12. They complained about how after it powered up their sorcerer, his body blew up. The briefcase also appears near the end of chapter 16 next to Sojo and was seen taken by a Hishaku member in chapter 18 before the castle blew up

I actually remember that one of the random yakuza got the datenseki but when the sorcerer that helped them out used it he exploded completely which resulted in them thinking sojo scammed them
