They stated in the earlier chapters that no one can wield the enchantment blade if they the current user is still alive,(I’m not good with names) but the bad guys have the sword and locked up to the max and not letting it go while the good guys have the user, probably someone powerful maybe not like it’s said the sword is more dangerous than the wielder so by keeping the wielder alive and imprisoned/safe. The bad guys can’t find a new wielder or buyer. Or maybe wants the sword themselves or what’s the sword value to increase but for that to happen the current user need to be dead. So basically it’s a stale mate between them . One has the key while the other has the car both useless without the other.

3:30 what jf the wielder/wielders are emotionally and mentally unstabel after going thru an entire war so id they wield their blades theyd do bad thinga with then which is why theyre locked up
This arc seems like itll be done within 10 chapters, i hope soon we get an exceptionally long arc with more fleshed out chsracters and a slower pace to build up the climaxes!!
