Jeff & Beau Bridges, Michelle Pfeiffer: ‘Baker Boys’ Reunion | TODAY - Розваги
A thousand years will pass and there still won't exist a woman as beautiful as Michelle Pfeiffer. Those lips and those eyes are perfection. God Damn, she's Beautiful.
+DocDLH Gotta leave the men wanting more, right? That's staying classy and sexy at the same time.
i know i know
I love 💕 Michelle!
instaBlaster.
Michelle Pfeiffer will always be known as one of Hollywood's most beautiful stars. I remember seeing the film "Dangerous Liaisons" at the Cinema and on the big screen Michelle was so beautiful i couldn't take my eyes off her.
Plus, she acts!
@@KutWrite and sings
Love this movie, watched it many times. And Michelle is as beautiful as ever.
My wife watches it every New Years day. That's 25 times folks.
Geez, Michelle Pfeiffer has barely aged a day!!! One of the most beautiful women of ALL time. That face could launch a million ships! Too bad the Bridges brothers haven't been given more roles to act together, as their natural chemistry is so entertaining.
Michael an adrenochrome sipping gender inverted male masquerading as a female allegedly?
it's called plastic surgery.
What's truly amazing is that Beau looks younger than Jeff even though he's 8 years older. And no plastic surgery. lol
MIchelle looks simply fabulous as if time hasn't touched her beauty! Amazing!!
This movie is a masterpiece!!
That is one of my favorite movies of all time. It is timeless and speaks to the restless spirit and angst of just living your life while trying to figure it out. There's got to be a "late night, back alley, jazz musician vibe or spirit" in all of us lurking somewhere just suppressed enough to keep us living "ordinary" lives -- in all of us!! I know it is for me.
If I was in a movie with Michelle Pfeiffer and my brother, I wouldn’t be pinching myself about my brother, that’s for sure! I’d be pinching myself about Michelle!!!😊
I see this movie today and still great! The chemistry between this boys and Michelle was amazing...Jeff always says that of all movie he always wants to do a sequel...This one is one of them....One of my favorites movies of the 80's
I’ll never know how she didn’t set the piano on fire!
I just love this movie. I think it is time to watch it again. I also played the sound track endlessly in my car. I even played Moonglow at my wedding.
How is it that Michelle Pfeiffer still looks so amazing? And not fake plastic Hollywood amazing, just amazing.
Because she's taking good care of herself and allowing herself to age gracefully. The others use Botox & get all sorts of facial implants and toxic fillers injected in their skin.
Stay out of the sun. It's the #1 thing that ages women's skin. But none of them listen, they all want that 'healthy tan' look. So they turn their skin into leather.
She looks like she had some work done
@@d.e.b.b5788 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂👏👏👏👏👏👏
Michelle looks better than Nicole Kidman, and she's probably at least 10 years older than Nicole.
The most gorgeous lady i have ever seen
Nobody mentioned the fabulous score by Dave Grusin. He really made it work especially since he is also a pianist.
Read my mind. Dave Grusin wrote an amazing soundtrack. Also 'My Funny Valentine" version in this movie sung by Pfeiffer, is one of the best ever made, mostly because of Grusin's arrangement.
Agreed... This movie for me was an introduction to Grusin , Retinour and Ernie Watts.
To this day.... Jacks theme is amazing
THE pianist, the one you hear all through the movie!
Classic and classy favorite of all time - still mesmerized
ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES OF ALL TIME! TO ME? IT'S A MODERN DAY CLASSIC.. SO SAD, HEARTBREAKING AND MELANCHOLY BUT ALSO HILARIOUS AND SO WITTY! AND OF COURSE THE 3 ACTORS ARE INDEED FABULOUS!... i have the movie poster as well framed along with others in my entertainment room! even the SOUNDTRACK to this movie is so so good!... i highly recommend both the movie and the soundtrack!...
thomas schmitz well said, I am a huge jazz fan and a huge Michelle Pfeiffer and Jeff Bridges fan, but Beau really showed some serious depth in this movie, one of my top 5 flicks ever!
cityofchamps66 same... I found the brothers performances heart wrenching and astonishing... I 'm wondering what actors could possibly could 've been nominated for an Oscar that year, that Beau and Jeff didn't even get a nomination...!
Michelle Pfeiffer is still hot as hell.
So is Jeff Bridges....va-va voomHandsome.
hotter*
Shes got even hotter older shes got
All three actors look fabulous! Still! Michelle, oh Michelle! ❤ 💕 💘 💗
Wow..amazing to see them together again..may they all give us a load more of good movies to come..
A tremendously powerful movie! I still love it to this day. It made me go out and learn how to play the piano.
:)
:)
I learned keys to I’m a locksmith.😅
totally fabulous!! Especially MP
LOVE THE BRIDGES JEFF AND BEAU VERY GOOD ACTORS AND MICHELLE IS BEAUTIFUL SINGER AS WELL XO
I love her singing in this movie!
WOW. is she so beautiful!
This is my favourite Michelle Pfeiffer movie, I didn't realise how big it was, it wasn't where I grew up in suburban Australia I was the only person I knew who saw it.
A perfect script, cast and huge Oscar snub for my favorite actress of all time
There's a little bit of everything in this movie. It's funny, it's heartwarming, it's sad, it's beautiful to look at, the acting is perfect―by the whole cast―and the music....oh, the music is fantastic.
I've said this before, I'll say it again, I'm still so effin' mad at the academy for not giving Pfeiffer any Oscar yet!
This breathtakingly gorgeous woman is such an icon
Still one of my favorites
Great, great movie & the music was awesome!
One of the Best Movies We Have ever watched. The Red Dress Scene, and Song, were Perfect.
One of the top three movies I have ever seen.
I just watched this tonight, really like this. It needed a follow up due to the ending.
The most amazing part of the Red Dress scene was when she stepped down on the edge of the keyboard in high heels. I've always wondered if there was some sort of hand hold out of camera range, or perhaps a helping hand from a crew member.
I Loved that movie 💖 and the chemistry between them was spot on... it was a really great script... I remember it being around xmas and I bought a similar dress as her red one in dark green👗 👌
All great actors❣
Beau Bridges is still my favorite and still looks great!
They all three were great one of my favorite movie of all time with three actors that I have always liked
They look absolutely fantabulous.
It's 2019 and its still being shown on Television ! -Still as Fabulous as when first seen ! - Mss you Paulla B x
Just watching it now !
One of the best movies of all time. I can watch it over and over and over...
LOVE that movie --- she looked amazing
aint i lucky ! i saw it for the first time this morning !!! made my day !
Wow She is lava!
Michelle should‘ve won the Oscar for this movie. But unluckily running into sentimental favorite Jessica Tandy that year for "Driving Miss Daisy". But the Oscar should‘ve been Michelle‘s. Robbed !
One of my favorite music scores of all time. Thanks to the cast and Dave Gruzin for such an amazing score.
One of my top three movies of all time.
I love the way she sings "rice" lol
How gorgeous Jeff was....
Not as much as in Against all odds. If h cut his hair and worked out.....
Michelle Pfeiffer and composervDave Grusin should have won Oscars for the film. Well, its iconic status is well-deserved.
Who are the 7 misguided individuals that gave this reunion piece a thumbs down? All top tier actors in their own right. An outstanding film that still holds up today. These negative naysayers probably didn't know how to handle a patient picture without non stop explosions throughout the flick. LOL! I own this DVD myself & watch it every New Years. Just gets better & better like fine wine baby.
Agreed 100% ..my favorite movie I watch it once or twice a year too :)
Great movie , loved every minute of this, so much talent. Met Beau in Vegas once, just a cool guy !!
They look great. They've aged well. I remember watching this film as a little girl. So very interesting that they actually reunited like this. How neat 👌
anjirrrr michelle stunning beud after 25yrs.ni film the best!
I love this movie so much!
wow.. i love it!
TIMELESS~~~:)
They should do another movie - same characters only 25 years later! I think this would be a great hit!
this is lovely.
man...sitting next to the Bridgeses makes Pfeiffer looking like her 25-years-ago-self.
love it
"Underrated" is SOOOO overused in these UA-cam comments about movies, but this movie really was. It really was an incredible script that floated around Hollywood for years, but every time it seemed it gained momentum it would disappear, but you knew it would eventually be made into a film. - And the script really was well-written. You didn't have the typical protagonist and antagonist as most scripts. None of the character were one-dimensional. They weren't great people, but weren't bad either. Susie Diamond was a former call-girl who talks like a sailor, but you can't help but root for her. Frank is clumsy and corny, but he works hard for his family and genuinely cares for his little brother. Jack is a self-centered loner and womanizer who often doesn't appreciate his brother, but he loves his dog and takes care of the lonesome girl upstairs. I don't know why, but I feel like it should be one of those movies you always watch at Christmas. (It has Xmas scenes) - Btw, I'd like to point out that Jack Baker's favorite drink in the movie is a White Russian, the same as Jefferey Lebowski. 😉
DUDE REALLY?
Still a favorite ❗
J ai tellement adoré ce film et la B.O. Film culte pour moi. Merci
Is Jeff Bridges getting ready for another Tron or does he rock that look 24/7?
Michelle deserved the Oscar.
Great film, terrific trio. Thank you.
However, the intro by Matt Lauer shld hv been cut.
Jeff Bridges should be cast as Moses - he looks perfect for the part right now.
And Beau can play Aaron ?
Still Fabulous🥰
A fabulous movie.
5 🌟 rating in the Book of Love ❤
Happy birthday at michelle pfeiffer from italian boy live in rome
Muy bueno y buena la pelicula...
WOW
Can we get a Fabulous Baker Boys Blu ray release please?!
Great movie
Great movie, could not have gotten a better group of actors. If you have not seen this movie, put it on your list. I think you can find it on You Tube.
Still gorgeous!!!!
That Michelle Pfeiffer is just yummyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ever
人生で最高の映画です😊
Man she's beautiful
I had a crush on Beau...watched Other Side of the Mountain.
SEE HER IN = THE FABULOUS BAKER BOYS = FOR THE SINGING
In reading Susie's subtle lip movements at the closing scene, I'm hard pressed to determine if she is whispering "Okay," "Alright," or "Bye Baker." Most open-ended ending since the final scene of Lost in Translation, where, after a parting kiss, Bill Murray whispers something in Scarlett's ear that draws a tear and a happy smile.
Interesting.... Lost in Translation is another very very good mood piece. The other mood piece I liked from the 80s was Paris, Texas but can't keep watching that melancholic one more than once.
No more superhero films, please! Let’s get more original classics likes this again!
Buena pelicula
La vi un toko de veces
Michelle was 56 years old there and I still couldn't take my eyes off her O_O
One of the few things network TV does well.
Michelle hermosa
micheal pfiffer still beauty
Talk about aging with style.
Note to NBC: We don't need to see Matt's face anymore. Edit out the intro. The re-union will stand on it's own.
She definitely should have released an album with full versions of all the songs she did in the movie. I still cannot find as sensuous a rendition of 'More than you know', as those few moments in the audition scene. ua-cam.com/video/_c19PbeK6D4/v-deo.html
she is still so hot
Beau looks like the younger bro now
Not sure why they said she says goodbye to the brothers at the end of the movie; that's incorrect to the ending.
+ns2110theonly She doesn't say good-bye so much as she says good-bye to a part of her life and is now moving forward. There isn't anything in the movie that says she can't or won't ever see them again; it is more that each is moving through life on their own timeline and it is not guaranteed that those will ever cross again ... but they might. It is mental sport to imagine them getting back together, but it seems pretty clear that the likelihood has shrunk. Each is now finding their true selves for that time of life and it may be and likely is that those lives don't intersect again or won't for some time.
I like that the ending was “open ended.” It let’s you fill in the blanks yourself. Have their lives been like trains crossing in the night? Or will they see each other again? It’s whatever you want it to be.
@@DocDLH IF YOU LOOKED LIKE SUZY DIAMOND IN 1986 SEATTLE YOU HAD 3 PRO SPORTS TEAMS and software millionaires coming out your ears to choose from...
@@DocDLHinteresting that Kloves did not want to do a sequel despite being asked several times. He felt like you did.
There was no script lol XD it was unscripted, those liars lol. Amazing film and acting though. The lines they came up with and the chemistry between Michelle and Jeff was amazing. And Michelle's singing was amazing! Wish Jeff was nicer to Michelle in the film though XD
They don't make films like this anymore thats for sure!
The Dude , his brother , and the duchess
At the end I thought he said "Tongueless." Then I realized he said "Timeless." Whoops.
