This is the first video, that explained my stationery addiction: feeling bad about being unorganized, buying stationery (especially planners), feeling organised. Thank you. At least I see now, why.
Love this video and the teachings of dr. Jud Brewer! I joined the EatRightNow program almost a year ago. I lost 11 kilo's and a whole new world opened up for me, by studying my behaviour and the world around me with joyful curiousity. My social skills improved, my vitality, my resilience, my stress coping, my wisdom, my ability to enjoy and savour each moment. I am still a human being, and still have problems and good times and bad times, but my happiness level definitely went up from say a 7 to an 8.
My doctor recommended watching your videos because I am in need of therapy and wished to do the research on my own. I think that your material is very much worth watching and that it is helping me to grow. Thank you Dr. Jud.
Dr. Jud! Fascinating! You mention history going back to 1819 in America. Have you contemplated the evolution of addiction and oppressed populations (Native Americans, Black Americans, the poor)? How does "lack" of freedom or "trauma" play into the neuroscience of addiction?
I am a trained Facilitator for Smart Recovery and love the Mindfulness which is mentioned in Smart. This takes the mystery factor down to my level. My Participants are in a women's recovery center and this is wonderful to discover. Thank you.
This is such a great video, I think it saved my life. I'm appearing for a tough competitive exam in subjects that absolutely love and adore, but I was unable to sit down and study due to my habits of UA-cam binge, procrastination and waking up late. I tried all the methods but I think this is it. This reward strategy is it. I'll be back after a while to let you know how the change is appearing. I have belief that this is the answer.
Thank you Dr. Jud, I've struggled with addiction for a very long time and your clear, emphatic and educational approach to the problem gave me a lot of insight.

This is great! The explanations are good and very clear, awesome drawings, easy to watch. Yes, mindfulness and meditation are the only real solutions, if you ask me... Thanks for this video!
We need to make this video viral, everyone need to learn this. Thanks for this video, just started to read "The Craving Mind" :) Can put subtitles in Spanish?
Really grateful for your postings! Just to let you know, spelling error at 16:44. Should be resources, not resourses. I'd be happy to proof read for you. :)

Sounds good. Doesn't work.
I've used the app, waste of time. Try Felix Economakis book, different approach. Excellent.
Waking Up APP brought me here
Too much information.
No offense, because I think Dr. Brewer is great, but "addiction to thinking" is one of the dumbest concepts I have ever heard.
