Pallet Bed - Build video (1/3)

This project has been a long time in the making. My wife wanted a new bed and since I never got around to it, she sold our old bed. With just a mattress on the floor it was time to build a new one. Using her design, this is the first part of 3 videos. In this video I build the bed frame. This has two feet on the end and the head will mount into the head board. I chose to sheet it so we don't have to use a box spring. if you plan to use one, you can simplify the frame quite a bit. The wife wanted to keep the mattress profile low, so we opted for this setup. It's not the most interesting build but it leads into the assembly of the head board.
Part 2 comes out next week and it will be the head board. Part 3 is the finish and assembly/install. I hope you like this project and if you have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks got watching.
