@@MusicMath123 I’m still looking, I keep seeing different ones with various upgrades but not what I’m looking for. If I can get one with all the work done already will save me messing around
Another great and informative video Italo!! "Piss poor preparation leads to poor performance". Any person that would argue with your ideas about "planning is not an adventure", is someone I DON'T want to ride with.
Thanks, man! That’s it! Planning is essential. There is a video on UA-cam from a major rider UA-camr, I’m a big fan of this channel but won’t name it, that unfortunately made the argument that is “lame” to have a route in advance. Sounds good on camera to sell the idea of exploring the unknown but in practice it doesn’t work like that. Despite the planning every trip I’ve done a lot of adaption was needed. I can’t imagine staying in the road for a few weeks without planning in advance.
One question: I've noticed in the last few videos you are not using Adventure Spec rear rack any more. Would you share why is that? I was about to order one and now I'm in doubt. Thank you!
Hi David, Primarily the design. It’s hard to explain without a picture but hope it makes sense. The AS rear rack sticks out too much from the motorcycle on the section closest to the motorcycle seat. I kept hitting the back of my calf in it when getting out of the motorcycle. It’s a functional design but it’s not slim. It doesn’t follow the shape of the motorcycle well. As of writing this message to you I’m already working on a version for Roia Moto. My girl it to make it lighter and a “tight” fit around the motorcycle shape. Needs to be functional, look good and follow the actual shape of the CRF. The AS will do the job. So I can’t say it’s a bad product. It fits and works. But I think it can be improved.
By the way.. I actually cut/modified my AS rear rack exactly because of this reason. If you are not in a rush in about 1-2 months I’ll have a video showing our rear rack. The CAD drawings are finished and I’m now adjusting the 3rd prototype we’ve made. It all goes according to plan around February / March the first delivery batch will be here.

@@RoiaMoto That makes sense. Thank you for your quick replay and for the channel.
I have lost 12 months riding due to shoulder injury. I now have a Tech Air air bag jacket.
Damn.. that’s tough! Hope you’ve managed to fully recover from it!
How do you like the Tech Air?
