Good video. I don't care what others say about Hart tools. I've been using them for the last five years. They're reliable and built to last. I have just about everything except the lawn tractor
These tools is excellent 👌 solution for home users it won't replace gas powered tools but it perfect for home users. I like that the lawnmower can fold easily for storing and the blower booster features is very powerful. The edge trimmer surprises me with it power and ease of use. I also like the dual battery compartment of the lawnmower. I do like the two ways you can collect or expell the grass from the lawnmower.
Great video! I have the Hart 16" chainsaw and so far I'm thrilled with it! So nice not to have to mess with gas and oil and pull starts. I am very impressed with the power, the balance, the ease of use, and the lack of noise. I also have the 15" trimmer and the 20" mower but haven't used them yet. I have a couple acres in the country of thick bushy hilly terrain and I and I'm still not sure that the lawnmower will be able to replace my Troybilt 240 push mower (and certainly not the Troybilt Bronco riding mower). When you showed the gentleman mowing the lawn I could not see any lines where the mower had been - I wish you were able to test this on thicker grass. I look forward to hearing his feedback and to see if he is ready to completely abandon gas and go to battery.
When using the self propelled, when you need to pull the mower back you usually have to wait a few seconds before pulling backwards. The Ego "wait" time is just a few seconds but the Greenworks for me is more than 15 seconds of you just standing there. How would you say the wait time is on this mower to be able to pull it backwards after you stop a forward self propelled action?
I’m sharing this on my husband’s FB timeline right now because I want it. I want to today!🎉 Today!🎉Today!🎊 💃🏽 I love power tools n stuff. He has no clue how much stuff I’ve bought over the last six months BUT it’s all for the long term good.👍🏾 7:39 Ooo I might need one of these too. You never know when you’ll have hedges. 😂
i need to know what type of nut (size and thread) is behind the wheel cap (hub cap) for the HART 40-Volt 21-inch - one of them fell off of mine. if you know, i beg you PLEASE tell me the name so i can go to the hardware store or to an auto part shop to get it. the Hart people dont seem to know what it is that i need after MONTHS of calls and emails! Thank you!
I really understand the appeal of battery for homeowners that mow square footage and not acres but I wish more than anything that some of these tool companies would include a little bit more metal in design to their equipment and not just plastic everything but the blades and a stamped deck. They really charge a premium for a lot of these tools but I’d like to see at least a little more metal on that mower.
You say that, but Honda for instance charges MORE for their more premium self-propelled mowers that are plastic resin versus the metal decks, which from my experience are far superior to their metal decks. Plastic deck all the way. I have a same year Honda (ICE) metal deck as my Ryobi (40V) plastic deck and the Ryobi is looking to last a lot longer with the plastic deck versus the now rusting Honda steel deck after only 6 years (on both).
The left side of my hart mowers handle comes loose all the time. On my third summer with it I also have a Ryobi 40 volt mower that I keep at my elderly father in law's house. Even though they are reportedly made by the same company, the Ryobi feels like it is better quality. Also on it's lowest setting the Ryobi cuts lower. The Hart trimmer does feel better than the Ryobi. And you should stay away from the auto feed version of it. Had one and I gave it to my sister. The problem is every time you stop the trimmer, it advances line whether you need it or not. Then when you start up again you hear the line hitting the cutter and it just becomes a line waster.
Great video loving the quiet feature of this blower I wonder if it’s quieter decibel rating over the ego 650 which I have and hate that high pitched whistle. 6 week update soon?
Well...laat year my hypertuff gas mower nearly killed me vecause the bolts holding the motor cracked through the fiberglass causing it ti jump up about a foot and also make a loud noise...We had that miwer only about 2 years in Wisco where we only mow in season. Anyway...left it up to the hubs to get a new one and we are now trying battery (I do not reccamend electric, the cord is a paine and the current blows the house fuse easily). So he picked a hart 40v and I am really nervous because just last week heard about batteries exploding on the news BUT, it would be nice not to have gas all the time... I have a pretty small to medium yard, the grass seems to bog up mowers easy, and it is not very flat but no big hills. I hearthat the batteries die very quickly, but anythibg is better than trying to use the batery powered weed eater to do 4 by 4 ft. sections of grass twice a day due ti havibg ti recharge the battery. So we shall see. I am happy to hear perspectives from the more experienced like this video and I REALLY hope I am not stuck with the same rebuying situations again and again on mowers because I JUST can not afford the time or cost. 5 years of great and easy mowin' sounds EXCELLENT! I am READY!
Will you be doing the brushless impact wrench anytime soon. It claims 600 ft pounds I was waiting till I see it on your channel before I buy. Thanks for reviewing
I just got a Hart self-propelled battery mower. The self-propelled feature works. The grass cutting: not so much. The blade literally doesn't spin. Buyer beware.
I bought the 21 inch self propelled mower and found it has an automatic speed function. As I mow normal length grass and vegetation it uses its efficient, med blade speed, but when you hit a patch of high grass, the mower blade automatically speeds up and then slows back to medium when it is out of high grass. It mows my lawn easier and better than my first love, a Honda Harmony self propelled gas mower, that I have had 30 years of trouble free use. I had a new blade on my Honda and after 30 years of heavy effort turning corners of the self propelled gear box, the cable to the self propelled function finally gave away where it is connected to the gear box. Try pushing those units with no self propelled functioning. So, with HALF the lawn mowed I checked into another Honda, but non available near me. So I heard about this Hart mower and it cost almost $700 less than the top of the line Honda. So with a 60 or 90 day money back deal if I did not like the Hart, I bought one. I was shocked at how much lighter it is to turn and it actually cut the uncut grass better than the Honda it replaced! So, with the 2 larger fast charge batteries and both battery slots being active by just changing the direction of the key, I decided to keep the Hart mower, and not spend about $200 to fix the self propelled cable on my old honda.
everything seems pretty decent but 500$ for that lawn mower? fuck that, ill stick with gas lol. I did get their trimmer/blower package for 150$ on sale so excited to give it a go. will probably get the edge attachment when it comes back in stock
The downside to e tools is that the batteries are so GD expensive!! Most cost more than the tool! So, you need to carefully select your brand as you want to buy TOOL ONLY tools so you can use your existing batteries & chargers. My first was Dewalt. But, eventually we had a falling out and I switched to Milwaukee. I use RYOBI lawn care tools. So, no matter how great a HART tool or BAUER or WARRIOR I stick w my 2. !
I don’t think it’s a good equivalent for gasoline powered, maybe if you live in the City and got a small yard. I can see this machine gotten plastic tire’s and not enough power for heavy duty yard. Good luck with this battery machines.
I'm not against battery equipment, but there is currently nothing on the market that has the power of my pro petrol tools. Replacing my current setup would cost around £15,000 😱. Also, I would need to buy a shitload of batteries which ain't cheap, and with that I'd have them charging every evening at home. With the price of electricity these days, would I actually save any money? I do get it, no fumes and low noise, been in the business for 30 years and starting to go a bit deaf, so probably wouldn't notice the latter! 😂
if you have 15000$ worth of "pro tools" why were you here looking at walmart shit? lol sounds like you just wanted to brag about your equipment. your obviously not the target customer for these products.
Yeah they both are part of the same company. The outdoor tools are rebadged ryobi's. Well all the tools are rebadged with slight differences like battery mounting interfaces.
That mower is the exact copy of the RYOBI. Even the batteries look exactly the same. Funny how walmart owns Lowe"s but is selling RYOBI copies of what their competitor Homedepot sells and not a copy of something from Lowe"s.
This mower is terrible guys I do not recommend. It struggled to cut grass around 2 inches and dies about every 5 steps then you have to fight to restart it so 20mins of battery charge and can only mow a quarter of the yard because 15 of the 20 mins is spend restarting it after it died from trying to mow a 2inch yard. Then you have to wait 4 hours to charge it and finish .. this mower gets 3/10 for me I like I save on gas like how it’s not heavy but hate how it has now power to cut anything
I'm not a fan of Walmart. My wife and I were in a Walmart yesterday and then stopped at a tiny (And I mean really small) Mexican grocery store yesterday. Walmart had one cashier, the Mexican store had 1 cashier but a woman who was stocking immediatly saw us waiting and came up and rang us up because there were now 3 people checking out. We saw ZERO employees walking around Walmart at 6pm. The little Mexican store had 3 guys and 2 women at 6:30. Hart could be the greatest thing and I still wouldn't buy it just because it's from Walmart.
Good video. I don't care what others say about Hart tools. I've been using them for the last five years. They're reliable and built to last. I have just about everything except the lawn tractor
Im part of the Hart family some of the best tools you can buy for the price, and almost everyone has a walmart near you, great video!

Any follow up on this? How long will this operate while actually mowing? I know snapper gives a runtime based on not-mowing and not-propelled.
HART holds its own 🙂

On the mower, is the slow part of the walk slow enough for senior citizens who walk fairly slow, or is it still a brisk walking speed?
How do you make it work after it’s been sitting in the rain?

❤we love our hart equipment haven't bought one so far I didn't love
will it accept other brand cuting blades, like a mulcher blade ????
My wife loves the hart line of products
For home use Hart tools are great.
How does the mower cut bahia after 7 days in August?
That will be a very good question. Probably be ready for blade sharpening, that's for sure. Thanks for watching.
By hart he means the same company that owns and manufactures ryobi

TTC has it if you're in a hurry. It's actually not bad. Hart has stepped up their game but also price.
Harts new generation power tools are pretty awesome but much more pricey than the old ones which is to be expected.
Wow the price has went up a $100 on that model kit
Hart is pretty much Ryobi with a different color and name. Alot of their drills impacts and even the mower looks very very similar to Ryobis
A lot of similarities and the same mother company, but not exactly the same. Thanks for watching.
@@Shoptoolreviews thanks for the videos I really enjoy your reviews that's y I subscribed
If battery can be shared, would be a plus imo
I was thinking the same thing
Can ryobi 40v batteries be used on HART 40v tools? THX
I just got a Hart self-propelled battery mower. The self-propelled feature works. The grass cutting: not so much. The blade literally doesn't spin.

I’m sorry but it looked like the mower had multiple blade speeds. Is that correct?
I bought the 21 inch self propelled mower and found it has an automatic speed function. I'm sure thier good.
Just don't like white on my power tools makes them look cheap.
Should have went with black and grey.
Black and gray are taken by another. We understand what you're saying, but we can't argue with their design team. Thanks for watching.
everything seems pretty decent but 500$ for that lawn mower? fuck that, ill stick with gas lol. I did get their trimmer/blower package for 150$ on sale so excited to give it a go. will probably get the edge attachment when it comes back in stock

Funny to see a dude weedeating in shorts and white shoes.
Central Florida, shorts is what you see on most lawn crews, homeowner or professional. Thanks for watching.
hart is tti so its basically a budget rigid or milwaukee
Your guy gonna buy a Tesla next lol
Nope, not us. We use electric where it makes sense...sometimes. Thanks for watching.
No one is mowing grass at night stop with that nonsense
In Florida, we mow at night all the time. Much better than 100-degree heat.
