Settle down boss! You putting in that work today!
I was worried that I may have made a mistake but I just got the HART for $190... everyone seems to like them... looking forward to when it gets delivered.
I bag all the time, never had a problem with the hart bagging the grass. I've never used the Skil, so i can't compare. I'd say for the price difference of a hundred dollars, the hart is the way to go..
I just bought the Skil Pwrcore 40 at Lowes for $250. 2 issues that I have with it. I have a gardener maintain my yard once a week. He was here on Wednesday, mowed the lawn. 2 days later, lawn needs another cutting to look nice for the weekend if guests are coming over. 1st thing I noticed is that the mower cut off about 4 times when I hit some thick patches of grass. Not very thick. Remember, grass had just been cut 2 days ago. I let it sit for about 20 seconds letting loose grass fall out underneath it. Restarted it and had to do that again about 3 more times. I did finish my backyard. 2nd issue is that there is still a good portion of grass that sits underneath the mower that doesn’t make it into the bag. I removed the battery, and had to remove the rest of the grass by hand. Other than that, I was very satisfied with the cut on my grass. Very easy to use and no assembly required out of the box. Again I will still have my gardener maintain my yard. So I will probably just use this mower once a month. This is the first mower that I have ever owned. So I can only give just a bit of my experience.
sometimes you have to work it through tall grass.. most less area per pass and give it a moment when it stalls. I like it a lot though and don't ever want another gas mower
I want to like Skil, but not for $100 more than the Hart, Ryobi, Kobalt and Greenworks(probably some others I missed)...this doesn’t even have a self propelled feature. It’s funny, because their 20v power tools are very competitively priced.
It's a nice mower for sure .. 329 I think would be a fair price .. and would be very competitive with those other mowers ..
I have the Hart, my problem with my Hart is the height that I can cut my grass. I would like to cut it as low as possible because I have some areas that have more weeds. I don't have the best grass. I would prefer to be able to cut the grass lower. The 1.5 is the lowest and it tends to miss the dandelion weeds and the cabbage grass. Also the grass grows back so quickly. I really wish there was a way to lower the blade closer to the grass. I have some areas that are not lever and it's not able to get in there. Any suggestions???

Those odd measurements: metric.
I'm thinking of getting one of these mowers (got a small yard). Decisions...
They are clearancing the Hart mowers at Walmart right now. I just picked up the 21” self Propelled kit for $200. It was a display but still brand new
👍🤙
Skil now sells a self-propelled PwrCore 40 mower with 7 height settings.
How about storage, can they handle the heat in the shed?
The mower yes the battery no keep the battery in a dry place above 40 degrees and below 105 degrees
I have two very important questions that wasn't even talked about. How long does it take to charge the batteries? Do they have some type of charging indicator to show how much of the battery power is left and when fully charged? And how long does the battery last when mowing?
Yes of course . All batteries have indicators... Theres no exact time .. it depends on how tall grass is .. how thick grass is .. what type of grass .. if your getting into any mower platform you should never just have one battery ... When you invest in lithium ion ope , your usually investing in entire platform .. if not i recommend buying another ope tool thst comes with battery .. takes around 2 1/2 hours to charge
@@toolboss8410 Thanks, so it takes about the same time to charge the Hart and Skil? Even though the Skil has larger battery? And they last about the same when using them? Thanks again.
Why would you need lights on a lawn mower are you trying to do this in the middle of the night?
Maybe you want to mow at night because you don't want your neighbors to see you using a Hart product? 😁
Where did you buy the Skil mower? They are only $299 at Lowe's not $399.
@@toolboss8410 I wasn't sure because you just said M.S.R.P. not the actual price you paid or where you got it so I thought you could have been given one for free to review or something.
The skil cuts of when mowing tall grass. It's a waste spent 200 more and got the ego.
Tool Boss putting in the work on labor day. Thank you sir for the videos, HD hacks, and good honest reviews.
Thank you Mr. Lopez 👌💪🙏
