I could never take on a job like this. I would like to rebuild my lawn mower engine and even that is daunting. No one needs that! I have been checking nightly for your progress, rooting for your success. Yes continue to be patient, it is not a race. Every job comes to an end one way or another. I have full confidence this will end in great joy driving down the road in that beautifully spec-ed cabriolet.

There is a complete 3.8 997 engine on Ebay USA 16K , check bores before purchase and then you have a spare one to play about with , bore it out to sharkworks 4.1 ;) stay strong and best of luck dude. I like the special effect editing.
I just watched your entire tear down and build to date. Great stuff!! I will never do this, it I learned a LOT about the flat 6 and bore scoring issue. Thanks a ton! Look forward to the rest of the build.

This makes me picture your garbage collector pulling up in morning seeing a giant 911 engine sticking out of your garbage can and seeing you with your arms folded looking out the window 😂
Yey. Great. If it make you feel better check out Boost Brothers Garage build of a 3.8 Cayman motor. He had to split the cases 3 times doing bank 2 and he is in the car repair business!
I appreciate your feedback. I'm trying to get a bit better at least at the video production part. My cadence is slow generally, not sure I can fix but audio issue, and perhaps trimming repetition, pauses etc I can.
