I can't believe how incredible and unique this game looks. What a breath of fresh air.
EDIT: The way Alan's "evidence board" is actually a plot board for a first draft is brilliant.
Loved the cameo 😂
Wait what cameo
@@isekai2zer051It's literally at the beginning of the video.
@@isekai2zer051 MAX PAYNE
Huh???
@@SolaireGamingPTLiTeRaLlY
Loved Alan Wake 1 and Control and am very excited for the sequel. Remedy has had over a decade to work on this, I hope the time and dedication shows.
Control is a fantastic game im sure Alan Wake 2 will be no different
i wonder if the object he uses to store light is written as a O.O.P (object of power)- A crossover type item from control.
Ahti will probably be there. At the end of Control he went on vacation in Waterly WA, the neighboring town to Brightfalls.
He'll be there with a set of group. ☺️
I wonder if that's the character they referenced but didn't want to spoil
I love how they took the complexity and confusing stuff of the story to a whole new level. Excited to play the game and then watch 60 videos to explain it
For real 😂
Brah. Same. I don't know which i will enjoy more.
Sam sneaks in
Does the face
Says nothing

This hypes me up for control 2 actually.
"In Between with Mr. Door"
Some of y'all are missing the absolute most hype moments.
"Control" was my favorite game of all time. And I watched *CJU's* playthrough of the original "Alan Wake," so I'm very hopeful for "AW2."
CJU games is a great channel
Really hoping there is a lot of FBC stuff from Control. I want to seem them trying to handle The Dark place as an A.W.E. and so on. The DLC made me so hype for it.
Wouldn’t say there’s a “lot,” but we do know that Cauldron Lake is fenced off by FB agents so Saga might bump into them during her investigation
@@EthanRom sounds great to me, any excuse to squeeze them in.
We also know that one of the AW2 DLCs is named “The Lake House”, which is a term used in some Control collectibles for the FBC’s observation post at Cauldron Lake. I’m hoping that DLC will be teaser material for Control 2, like AWE teased AW2. 😊
they are working on Control 2/Heron too
I love everything I see about Alan Wake 2.
In times when The Evil Within is no more, Resident Evil goes popcorn-shooter again and Silent Hill and Ded Space live off of remakes, a game like Alan Wake 2 is much needed. Definitely gonna support this!
This is more like the Evil Within crossed with Control looks really bad as a horror game
Isn't silent hill getting like 3 or 4 new games?
@@goofed86 huh? I think it looks great, and horror can work with its style, especially with what we have seen. Its going for a more art house horror instead of jumpscare. Just my opinion tho
Since when Resident Evil goes popcorn shooter again? It's still survival horror.
@@kdscool1536 Some Resident Evil fans just can’t be satisfied. Wouldn’t read too much into it.
I hope Alan doesn’t lose his flashlights so often this time around. It was always the worst feeling getting that big lantern and losing it the next chapter lol
He won’t.
I cannot explain how excited that I am for this game. I am really happy to hear that Remedy focused so much on the atmosphere of the game and environmental storytelling so much. Those were some of my favorite things about Alan Wake 1. I'm 100% on the Hype Train!
1st Alan Wake is a classic. The theme and atmosphere. I want to experience a 2nd in the wilderness somewheres.
My most anticipated game this year, and I would even call myself a huge fan of the first one, but everything I've seen about 2 looks incredible.
stop overhyping unreleased games.
@@MaYeRsDz94he do what he wants. Stop being pessimistic for the sake of giving you style 🤦🏾
This looks amazing. How can Remedy make such beautiful games on their budget. I don’t know how much they spent on this, but heard they made Control for $40-50 million where other games that look this good cost $200 million. It’s nuts. I can’t wait.
Control was made on 28 million dollar budget with marketing. Mostly marketing is from word of mouth.
@@penyuwan well that’s even more crazy! They’re just a super talented developer. Microsoft lost out by not keeping them or the Alan Wake IP when they had it.
@@drgonzo123 I rather them be independent and do whatever the heck they want.
Northlight Engine
that max payne cameo though! 😆
The level of detail is surreal,i saw the gameplay and OH MY GOD!
As much I hate they’re not going to do a physical release. I think I’m going to buy the game Day 1 and support this game.
There's no physical release?
@@gloriempaka9474 not currently - due to money funds and time. The last factor tells me they might do a collector's edition later though, just might not have a disc since they made a point that most games need to be downloaded online anyways
@@gloriempaka9474 No unfortunately
@doomguydemonkiller 😔 oh wow that's kinda wack
I love Remedy so much and the game(s) and story they've delivered through different games over all these years. They were really underrated back in the day, imo. I'm glad they're finally getting the recognition they deserve and it's clearly showing in their recent games and the development of these.
Lucy rockin' _Der Vokuhila_
Credit to both Lucy and Tam and how good they are at what they do. Both were super jetlagged here and recorded this about 10 minutes after we had wrapped the demo with little prep. Superb! (of course, our demo was amazing, so it was easy :D )
Sam Lake is literally Keanu Reeves of gaming
He truly is.❤
Can't wait for this one. Remedy is really becoming a graphics powerhouse.
Ummm they always have been.
Such an interesting game, but I guess graphics are more important lol.
I think quite a few people there have deep roots in the demoscene and also the benchmarking tool 3DMark. I think there was quite a bit of cross-pollination over the years as Futuremark was founded by former Remedy employees. First 3DMark used the engine from Max Payne as a base.
ah 665 the neighbor of the beast reference again . love it. add some Poets of the Fall / Old Gods of Asgard and we are golden!
One of the very few people that I would love to meet from the gaming industry, Sam Lake.
I need to get back on Control fr. This is looking awesome! Already played AW1 at least.
How rude of that guy to photobomb during the intro to the video!! lol
Well he's max Payne so..
@@playzaid4koh it is him I was wondering that😂
@@gloriempaka9474 Well you wondered right.
@@playzaid4k 😂👍🏼
@@playzaid4kI think you mean, "it's PAAAAYYYNE!!"
So hyped for this game. Finally!
Looks really really good and dark so many new ideas and story segments really really cool 😀
They pretty much confirmed Jessie fade from control will be in this game.😅
It's just unreal!!! I am an inveterate gamer, but no game in my life has ever brought me to a state of euphoria and given me such a sense of delight and admiration!!! This is my most anticipated game ever, I count the seconds every day and can't wait for the release of this masterpiece!!!
While watching the gameplay, I had one question (it would be great if someone would answer it in the comments):
In gameplay for Alan, I noticed that he holds the flashlight from the bottom (palm up) and when using the darkness burn on enemies, the flashlight hangs in the air for a second while Alan intercepts and picks it up from the top (palm down), same thing when aiming - Alan holds the flashlight from the bottom (palm up), although it would be more convenient to pick it up from the top (palm down)... When playing as Saga, she holds the flashlight from above (palm down) the entire time, which is much more convenient and practical when shooting, burning out darkness, and simply exploring, especially all with flawless and smooth animations!
The question is, will this important aspect of gameplay be finished for Alan, or perhaps it was originally intended (so that the heroes have different animations and behavior with equipment), but these separate animations will still be finished for Alan?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me understand this question!
This looks fantastic
the MOST important question: WHERE IS THE BLAZING EYE OF MORDOR, BARRY?!
I hope this is like twin peaks season 3 of gaming
"There are more FACES across other Alan Wake games that make an appearance."
Watery, which is just across a river from Bright Falls, is set to appear in the game as a location.
What I'm saying is, AHTI IS BACK BABY. LET'S GOOOOOOO.
Shawn Ashmore is also supposedly back
@@EthanRomyup
@@EthanRom no way
@@dimmazeen Before you get too excited. Not as Jack Joyce
Update: AHTI IS INDEED IN THE GAME. LET’S GOOOOO.
Looks lit, october can’t come soon enough.
Too many good games coming 😫
Apparently all that Control money wasn't wasted
I hope Remedy drops the demo or slices of it online.
Game looks stunning tho
Wow wow 😮 This looks incredible.
Can’t wait for this game
This is just amazing!!
Will it be on Disc?
Remedy had me at Max Payne…
Ah, the long lost brother of John Wick...
Wait im confused he said writing didnt really play a large part in the first alan wake i coulda swore a large chunk of the enemies and ghouls were from his writings and they were coming true
Yeah but he means it’s more interactive so you actually get to alter reality personally in gameplay. It isn’t just cutscenes like in the last game
@@bradley8258 thats fire
I can't wait!
My guess is that Alan's nightmare NYC will feature an encounter with the FBC
Sam lake and I’m in
I wanna play it already!!!
I just can't wait
This looks incredible
Max Payne is gonna be so good. Best John wick style game.
Wonder if sam lake is a nice guy as it seems since max payne 1. great writer for sure.
If it’s ANYTHING like Control then I’m buying Alan Wake 2. ( I was already gonna but Alan Wake 2 because it’s make by Remedy. )
The angel lamp is an altered item
it's more of an object of power
Hype is real!
Sounds like everything you want in a sequel you are going to get. Excited to play
Max Pain❤
lol intro was good
I love Sam Lake
All i can say is that a new Max Payne game will be really cool if made by Remedy because of their dark mysterious story telling..Mayb even better than what Rockstar can do. Rockstar and Remedy combo would have been perfect but its not possible anymore. :(
Waiting for the game woooooo
I wish the demo was playable at Gamescom
audio is stinging a little bit
Dr. Casper Darling is gonna be in this game, isn't he 😀
Anyone who knows anything about Harry Potter is familiar with the “angel lamp” It’ll always be a deluminator.
Did he just say that it’s dense …because of the implication😏 hahaha
First time I see you 2 since being a regular listener of "JeffJeff's Bizarre Adventure"
Alan looks like John Wick.
Alan has been around for 13 years, so which one resembles who? 😉
i want this
Max Payne! 😱
Sam lake likeness next maxpayne game pls 😂 someone mod sam lake in all other maxpayne games 😂
Lucy 😍
Max Payne!
AYO SAM
4:12 "if you took out all that pesky gameplay"
Is that hosty the girl from the new Star Wars game?
I love when newbies talk about this game 😂🤣🤷
Make it physical :(
"Not as linear as it might sound."
Dude I want linear, I'm fed up of open world cardboard games.
Shout out to one of the best polygons-and-live-action integration yet: Hellblade did a great job, and it did so on semi-stock Unreal Engine, way better than Control with its proprietary engine. Hoping to see Alan Wake II top that before Hellblade II comes out and makes it eat its hat in envy.
I'm just playing AW1 for the first time and one of my impressions was actually that it reminds me of Hellblade with the narrative-driven structure, slow minimal game play and psychological themes with weird creepy supernatural elements. Hellblade was such an amazing experience, and the audiovisual aspect is so immersive. Cool to see someone give Hellblade a shout out, you rarely hear it.
John Wick eres tú?? 😁
The pills ease the pain
W. Don't care for Alan 1 But the dlc in CONTROL and what I've seen has me actually looking forward to it
I think the story in AW1 was great with its themes, very unique. Gameplay does not hold up at all though in the original. I think AW2 is taking from the original, plus what they learned with Control, and upping the notch even higher. Cannot wait for this, looks so good and unique
Yoo is that max Payne😂😂?
It's not a lake...
i never could get into remedy games
Can I just say… Lucy is beautiful af lol.
Again, why does alan look like john wick
Why does Johnny silverhand look like John Wick? It just is what it is
Ehh🤷
Its the same actor they modeled the face from for the original, he just has a beard in this one now.
We need a new max payne.
1 and 2 arw being remade.
🔫😏
I think you mean "What Alan Wake 2 Borrows From John Wick".
It didn't borrow anything it's the same universe
Ok so what I gather is that the game is more walking movie than videogame.
Dont forget, no physical release.
The visuals look insane
